We’re looking for a medior to senior Backend Developer who is deeply experienced with WooCommerce and modern WordPress architecture, and who enjoys building robust, custom solutions rather than off-the-shelf plugins.
What you’ll be working on
= Designing and building custom WooCommerce logic using hooks, actions, and filters
= Maintaining and extending a complex booking and checkout system
= Developing custom integrations via webhooks and third-party APIs
= Working within a modern WordPress stack using Roots/Sage, Roots/Acorn, and Laravel-style patterns
= Implementing advanced data structures and workflows using ACF and Gravity Forms
= Ensuring performance, security, and scalability as the platform grows
= Collaborating closely with product, growth, and operations teams
Must-have experience
= Medior or Senior-level experience as a backend developer
= Deep understanding of WooCommerce hooks, actions, and internal architecture
= Strong experience with WordPress backend development
= Experience with Roots/Sage, Roots/Acorn, or Laravel
= Solid knowledge of webhooks and custom API integrations
= Proven experience with ACF and Gravity Forms
= Comfortable working on production systems with real traffic and revenue
Nice to have
= Experience with Alpine.js and/or Livewire
= Experience with booking platforms, marketplaces, or e-commerce at scale
= Familiarity with CI/CD and modern deployment workflows
= Interest in sports, football culture, or travel
