Cancellation Policy – Guests
Day Tours – Standard Policy
Host Cancellation or No-Show
If a host cancels a Day Tour, guests will automatically receive a full refund.
If you were not informed about the cancellation, please contact Homefans immediately.
To request a refund due to a host cancellation or no-show, guests must reach out to Homefans within 72 hours of the scheduled experience. Supporting evidence—such as photos, host messages, or confirmation from other guests—may be required. Homefans will review the case and determine if a Day Tour Issue has occurred.
Note: In cases of host cancellations or no-shows, hosts will not receive any payment.
Guest Cancellations
If a guest cancels a pending booking request (before confirmation), any charges made will be fully refunded.
If a guest cancels a confirmed booking, the cancellation policy displayed on the Day Tour listing will apply.
For Day Tours that include match ticket purchases by the host, the following terms apply:
7+ days before the match:
Guests may choose a full refund or credit for a future Day Tour at no extra cost.
Less than 7 days before the match:
The amount is non-refundable but may be applied as credit toward a future Day Tour.
If tickets have already been purchased by the host, their cost will be deducted from the credit.
Rescheduling
Guests can reschedule their Day Tour (including date/time changes or guest count) within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time.
For Day Tours that include match tickets, rescheduling must be agreed upon with the host or Homefans in advance.
Rescheduling does not reset the cancellation policy—original booking time and start date still apply.
Changes to Match Date/Time
If the kickoff date or time changes due to decisions by football associations or local organizers, guests are entitled to full credit toward a future Day Tour at no extra cost.
Note: In some countries, match tickets are linked to the booker’s ID. In these cases, the ticket cost is non-refundable, regardless of cancellation timing.
Cancellations Due to Weather
If severe weather creates a safety concern, the host may cancel the Day Tour. If this occurs, guests will receive a full refund.
ID Verification Issues
Some experiences require the primary booker to provide a valid ID. If ID is not submitted within 3 days of purchase, the booking may be canceled in full.
Multi-Day Trips – Cancellation Policy
Multi-day trips include accommodations, match tickets, and other activities.
Guests can receive a partial refund if the trip is canceled at least 45 days before the scheduled start date.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another trip of your choice.
