Stadium Tours led by a local in Belgrade
Be guided by a passionate local who enhances your experience with insider knowledge.
Includes an official match ticket for a long side seat in the stadium.
Welcome to Belgrade, a city rich in history, warm-hearted people, delicious food, hectic football culture, and of course - the allmighty rakija. Day one is arrivals day at the Hotel Mint (or a similar one). Meet & greet with the local hosts and the rest of the group, check in and refresh. In no time our first group activity starts - the Pub Night. Get ready for a welcome beer from Homefans, and probably some more local beers to follow.
Who's up for some stadium tours at vintage grounds for breakfast? First we head to the legendary Rajko Mitić stadium (still called Marakana informally) where we get a fantastic firsthand experience on a private tour which includes an official guide, trophy hall, pitch tour, and some surprises along the way. Then, the Partizan stadium, an old school temple of football. Learn about the club's history in the trophy hall, take awesome photos on the pitch, touch the grass, feel like a Partizan player for a moment. A fully immersive football experience ! After visiting the club shop, you'll have some spare time for sightseeing and free activities. Make sure you have some rest and your stomach empty, because in the evening we meet in one of the oldest streets in Belgrade, the renowned Skadarlija, for an authentic Serbian Dinner (optional as an extra). This gastronomic experience includes finger-licking food, in a very local way. Feel the spirit of Belgrade and it's people!
Wake up and try to picture the madness that's coming up. This is not your regular match day. So spend your free time in the morning wisely. In the early afternoon, the group meets in a cozy pub for the warm up. Beers, expectations, tension in the air. The locals will share the latest news about the game, and also their own views and feelings about it. We will head early to the stadium to join the pre-game vibe and maybe catch a corteo. In the stadium, take a seat from where all the action will be perfectly visible and at the same time close enough to keep your goose bumps for a while even after the last whistle. After the derby, we'll go back to the hotel or city centre for those that want to have a drink afterwards! In a mood for more action (after the Eternal Derby, we doubt it)? No problem, you'll get the best tips, Belgrade has a lot to offer on any given night.
Back to normalcy. You will wake up still feeling the blast from the day before. And that’s fine, trust us. Time to bid a farewell to your local host and fellow travellers and exchange contacts. Hopefully some new friendships for life. Time to say goodbye…until the next football adventure with Homefans.

Brilliant weekend in Belgrade at the derby, plus a couple of additional games that the hosts organised for us. It was a big group but hosts Andrija, Jovan, George and Egor managed it brilliantly sorting out restaurants, pubs and coach travel to a nearby town for a bonus match on Saturday before the derby. The derby was a unique experience, where you spend as much time watching the fans as the football! A surreal experience where the match continues whilst fires are burning the stands 😮 Definitely worth a visit!

Dear Marko & Stefan, Honestly I don’t know where to start. Thank you guys for the great experience and guidance. The hotel was nice. No high class luxury just perfect for basic needs. Nice and clean and breakfast was also just fine. Special mention for the sweet lady at the reception who gave her own sandwiches when I came in hungry at night when fastfood in the city and kitchen in the hotel were closed already. She refused to accept the tip I wanted to give her for being that kind of sweet. She even got mad at me because I didn’t want to accept her own sandwiches because she was the one working! It was Belgrade City Hotel. So if anyone can find out who she is please let her know she deserves a big hug because I need to show my respect somehow. Furthermore Stefan took us to a nice restaurant before the match. Local food and drinks, and very affordable as well. It was a blast of an experience. This kind of political loaded derby is a different level of crazy and fascinating. During to walk to the stadium Stefan had extra attention to be sure an older Scottish man was okay. How can you not respect that? The day after Marko was so kind to do an extra city/stadium tour for our group because we couldn’t do it before the match. They both gave a lot of information about the clubs and their political history which is very interesting to know and it makes you understand a little bit better why it’s so rough. Very interesting, honestly it also triggered my interest in political history of former Yugoslavia. Sometimes I wanted to ask deeper but the wars are nog even that long ago and I didn’t want to disrespect anyone but this part of Europe is so interesting. Definitely want to return someday to see more of former Yugoslavia and discover more from different perspectives. Marko guided us to the stadiums and also showed us parts of the city so we could see Partizan neighborhoods or Red Star neighborhoods. They both speak English excellent so very easy to understand and knowledgeable. It’s even better to do some historical research before because it makes you understand their values and believes better. It’s absolutely worth the money. Thank you so much guys. If anyone please can find out the name of the Belgrade City Hotel receptionist I would like her to read my message. For North/Western European countries like The Netherlands it was affordable to experience Belgrade. It really touched my heart that the lady was showing a gesture like this. As we say on the streets of Arnhem when people show is this kind of character: Lest we forget

Great experience and atmosphere! The hosts were great and shared good and interesting stories about the clubs and serbia in general. Perfect organized few days with food, drinks, stadium tours and except for the eternal derby we also went to Novi Sad and watched a home game there. The eternal derby will probably never leave our memories! Thank you for a really great time! Skål from some of the Swedes.

Another great trip from Homefans, had a great weekend, hotel was good and centrally located. Stefan and Marko were great hosts who gave us lots of information during the weekend and answered any questions we had and looked after us. Ground tours were great on the Saturday and the highlight of the weekend, the derby, did not disappoint. Highly recommended

This trip was truly brilliant, the host, the tours and the city couldn't be better. On behalf of a couple of lads from Leicester we couldn't have asked for a better overall experience. The host Andrija was very informative and caring towards the whole group making sure everyone was ok and everyone understood the plan over the weekend. We will definitely be back for the reverse fixture and we hope to be with the same hosts again.

Great weekend. Great atmosphere. Great host. Would recommend this for anyone who wants to experience the derby. The host are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They’ll happily answer any questions and show you the best places in Belgrade to visit and where to eat/drink. Even after the visit I have kept in touch with one of the hosts who is still happy to talk about his club and home city. I would like to return to see the derby in Partizans stadium. By using homefans you also get the chance to meet up with other like minded people and make new friends, share stories about your own team and other football travels.

Unbelievable experience of not only the eternal derby but also Belgrade. The hosts Andrija, George, and Jovan were exceptional and made the trip as perfect as it could be, always trying to help. The inside knowledge was super fascinating and a great insight. Belgrade is a beautiful city and I’ll definitely be back to visit again. Thanks.

What a fantastic experience in Belgrade, our hosts Andrija, George, and Jovan were a fountain of knowledge for all things football in Serbia and ready to answer any and all questions we might have had. The Derby itself was spectacular and the tours of Partizan and Crvena Zvezda's stadium were a fascinating insight in to the history of the clubs. Our team of hosts were not only knowledgeable but highly helpful and everything ran very smoothly. Belgrade as a city has a lot to offer in terms of great food, drink and culture. I would definitely return for the Derby at Partizan's ground. Thank you!
