Serbian passion and temperament are something you can feel throughout the entire experience, regardless of the result. As a host, I’d love to show visiting fans Red Star and Belgrade from the perspective of someone who has grown up with both, and hopefully give them a matchday and a visit they’ll remember long after they leave Serbia. I’ve been a Red Star fan for as long as I can remember. My father took me to my first match when I was a child, and that was the beginning of a love for the club that has never stopped. For years, I’ve been a season-ticket holder for both Red Star’s football and basketball teams, and I very rarely miss a game. Going to matches has become a huge part of my life, and even after all these years, every matchday still feels like a different experience. Nowadays, I regularly go with my friends, and matchdays have become one of our favorite ways to catch up during the week, spend time together and stay connected despite our busy schedules. It’s something we always look forward to, regardless of the opponent or the result. Red Star is also something I associate strongly with family, friendship, tradition and growing up in Belgrade. What started with my father taking me to games as a child has now become something I share with some of my closest friends. I’d love to share that side of the club with people visiting from abroad who share similar passion, not just showing them a match, but helping them understand why Red Star and its atmosphere mean so much to its supporters.
