I cannot overstate how incredible this experience was. What was sold as a "matchday ticket and local host" turned into one of the most authentic, warm, and unforgettable days of my travels. From the very first message, Goncalo was exceptional. He wasn't just organising a trip to the game, he was welcoming me into his world. His communication was perfect, and he tailored the day to ensure I got the full, genuine local experience, not just the tourist version. On the day itself, Goncalo went above and beyond. He met me early, explained the history of the club and its rivalry, and you could feel his genuine passion. He navigated everything seamlessly, from the best pre-match atmosphere to the perfect seats where we could feel the energy of the crowd. But here’s where it became truly special, he included me in his own personal matchday tradition. This is where I need to give a massive, special shout-out to his father and his best friend. They weren't just along for the ride, they were integral to the experience. His father shared incredible stories and insights that you'd never read in a guidebook, offering a perspective filled with decades of loyalty. His best friend had an infectious energy that made the whole day feel like I was with old friends, laughing and cheering together. Their welcome was so sincere, it felt like being adopted into their matchday family for the day. The match itself was brilliant, but honestly, the people made it legendary. Chanting with them, feeling the highs and lows, and then celebrating (or commiserating!) together after the final whistle was pure magic. I am truly, deeply grateful to Goncalo for his outstanding hosting, and to his father and best friend for their incredible warmth and hospitality. This wasn't a tour, it was a privilege. If you want to feel the soul of a football club and create memories that last a lifetime, book this experience without hesitation. You won't regret it! Thank you, Homefans, for facilitating, and thank you Goncalo and family for an absolutely perfect day. I'll be back!!

I'm going to try keep this concise. Lisbon is a BEAUTIFUL city with a lovely charm and a relaxed vibe which was great to be part of. My local host/guide, Ricardo, was a brilliant host and person who guided us to multiple lovely places for my group to see and enjoy. My hotel (Lisbon City Hotel) was at a great location at Intendente which gets lively at night with an outdoor DJ/performer where drinks are flowing and it has many restaurants and shops nearby. Whilst the action on the pitch was disappointing in the Lisbon derby, I loved the atmosphere and being at a wonderful stadium of Sporting's, along with Benfica's for the stadium tour. I look forward to my next trip with Homefans.

A thoroughly enjoyable football experience and another excellent day hosted by Victor. We attended Fluminense vs Santos, and from the outset Victor was, once again, a fantastic host. Communication leading up to the match was clear and timely, meeting arrangements were straightforward, and everything was handled professionally, making for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. One of the highlights of the evening was the opportunity to see Neymar play. Watching one of the most recognisable footballers of his generation in person added an extra dimension to the occasion and made the match particularly memorable. Victor struck the perfect balance between being organised and allowing guests to enjoy the experience naturally. He was knowledgeable, approachable and always on hand to help with any questions or logistical details, ensuring the entire matchday ran smoothly. The atmosphere inside the stadium was excellent, with passionate support and plenty of energy throughout the game. As always, Victor's local knowledge and enthusiasm helped us appreciate the occasion beyond the football itself, providing insight into the culture and traditions that make Brazilian football so unique. Whilst this fixture perhaps didn't reach the levels of some of the standout matches we attended on the trip, it was still a very enjoyable experience, made all the better by Victor's professionalism and hospitality. Overall, another well-organised and authentic football experience. If you're fortunate enough to have Victor as your host, you'll be in very capable hands.

Another first-class football experience, this time with Victor. Having already enjoyed several incredible football experiences during our trip, the Fluminense vs Palmeiras match with Victor certainly maintained the high standards we had come to expect. From the moment we met, Victor was friendly, welcoming and highly organised. His communication was excellent throughout, making everything straightforward and stress-free. He expertly handled all of the matchday logistics, including the face-recognition entry process, allowing us to focus entirely on enjoying the occasion. What really stood out was Victor’s enthusiasm and local knowledge. He helped us experience the match as more than just spectators, providing insight into the culture, traditions and atmosphere that make Brazilian football so special. The pre-match build-up, the passion of the supporters and the overall matchday experience were something we'll remember for a long time. If you're looking for an authentic football experience in Brazil and want someone who genuinely cares about making your day enjoyable and hassle-free, Victor is an outstanding host. Professional, knowledgeable and great company throughout. The Fluminense vs Palmeiras game was a fantastic experience and one that was made even better by Victor's guidance and organisation. I’m giving this a 5-star rating only because there isn’t a 6-star option! Travelling to the other side of the world with the hope of securing football tickets requires a real leap of faith, but from start to finish it was absolutely worth it. The communication was excellent, the planning was meticulous, and every detail was taken care of, allowing us to simply enjoy the experience. A special mention must go to the fantastic hosts: Matheus, Luiz, Marcello, Kairan, Joao, Victor and Mattheus B, all of whom worked incredibly hard to make every match and event feel special. They were also excellent at navigating the face-recognition entry systems, keeping guests informed throughout, and ensuring we felt safe and comfortable, particularly while in Rio. If you enjoy international ground-hopping or experiencing football cultures that are different from your own, I genuinely believe this is one of the very best ways to do it. The access, local knowledge and organisation were first-class. During our trip we experienced: Vasco da Gama vs Remo with Luiz and Marcello Flamengo vs Fluminense (Fla-Flu) with Kairan Maracanã and São Januário stadium tours with Joao, who is incredibly knowledgeable about football in Rio Botafogo vs Chapecoense with Matheus B The hosts also took us to pre-match events and local gathering spots, helping us experience the atmosphere beyond the stadium itself. Combined with a good choice of hotel options and excellent support throughout, it made for an unforgettable football trip. For anyone considering it: stop thinking about it and book. You won't regret it.
