Come and discover football in Ostrava, a city with strong football traditions, local rivalries and seriously passionate fans.

I’m Michal, a Polish football fan, groundhopper and local host living close to the Czechia-Poland-Slovakia border. I spend a lot of my free time travelling to football grounds around the region, and now I want to share that experience with fellow football fans visiting Central Europe.

The idea is simple: meet up, grab a beer, talk football, explore a little of Ostrava and head to the Baník game together.

I’ll give you some background on the club and the local football culture, show you a few places you probably wouldn’t find on a standard tourist itinerary and make sure you get the full matchday experience.
