FC Porto Matchday | City Pride & The Dragão

In Porto, football and the city are difficult to separate.

I’m Rui, a local FC Porto fan, and before you head into the Dragão, I want to show you why the club means so much to the people who live here.

We’ll meet a couple of hours before kick-off and start with a local drink and a simple snack. It’s a relaxed way to talk about FC Porto, the match ahead and the connection between the club and the city.

I’ll share some stories about the rivalries, memorable European nights and the mentality supporters associate with the Dragões.

From there, we’ll make our way towards Estádio do Dragão together.

As kick-off gets closer, blue and white shirts start filling the area around the stadium and the matchday atmosphere takes over.

I’ll help you understand some of the chants and traditions you’ll hear later and accompany you to the stadium entrance.

Then it’s time for you to head inside with your included match ticket and experience FC Porto live.

The goal is not just to watch Porto, but to understand why the club feels like such a strong part of the city itself.

Schedule note: Match dates and kick-off times shown in the booking calendar reflect the latest confirmed schedule, but may still change due to league, TV or organisational requirements. Any updates will be reflected in the booking calendar.
