River Plate Matchday Experience – Centenario Media Stand

We had an excellent time with Ramiro, he is a fantastic host. You won't regret going to a game with him at all, he is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and friendly guy. He made 2 River Plate fans for life. Thanks again, Ramiro!

I've always wanted to go to El Monumental after seeing it on TV so this experience was very worth it just to be able to get a ticket and get in. The atmosphere was great and had some good football too, in particular an excellent goal by Solari! It was great to talk to Ramiro too who is clearly very knowledgeable about football and el loco Bielsa (and English music!) I haven't done other tour experiences as I usually go to games myself. I would say it was perhaps a slightly different experience to what I might have expected, Ramiro had a couple of groups and I think sat in a different stand, and because I had some earbuds with me (oops) I had an issue at security and ended up on my own for the game and navigating it all on my own. This wasn't a big issue but if you have less experience of going to football matches (especially here) and don't speak any Spanish you might want to clarify the arrangements. Ramiro did also give me a lift to a subtle station which was super helpful and meant I was close to my accomodation. Overall definitely 5 stars, thanks a lot!

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Rama is a brilliant host we met Rama before the game and he gets you to to and into the stadium super easily but not before the obligatory beer and snack before the game. Once in the stadium the atmosphere is like nothing I've ever experienced at a game before!! It is very packed in and at half my partner wasn't feeling comfortable and Rama made so much effort to make her more comfortable moving to a more spacious area. Rama got us home safely as we walked home from the stadium chatting about all things river plate and Argentinian football.

I went to 2 matches with Ramiro, one at Racing Club and one at River Plate. Both games Ramiro remained with me the entire game and was very approachable. I enjoyed both, especially the River match where we stood in the terraces for a 3-0 win. Gracias Ramiro!

Ramiro is a great host and you will have a great time with him if you do this trip. He took us for pizza and beers before the game, made sure we got into the ground ok and then the atmosphere and match experience was great, atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommended. We then went back for more pizza and beers after the game

Rama is a really nice guy that explained any question we had about River in great depth. He took care of everything and made sure we enjoyed the pre match atmosphere outside the ground and ensured we were safe at all times. After the match, he took us all for a pizza for a debrief which completed an awesome day of football. The River stadium and atmosphere is insane!!!

Rama is the perfect host and gave us the best football experience of our lives! I have attended football matches all over the world but nothing could ever live up to the intensity and passion of River Plate match! Rama made sure we were picked up from our hotel and dropped off at a restaurant near the ground where he told us stories about River Plate and ordered us a lovely meal. We were taken to the stadium and Rama made sure we all got in safely and he took us to the perfect spot where we were lucky enough to witness River win the league! After the match Rama guided us safely from the stadium to a little restaurant where we managed to get a bite to eat and a drink while he ordered us transport back to our hotels. An absolute gentlemen and legend of a guy! We will 100% be back to Argentina to take in a match with Rama! You will not find a better host!! There's not enough stars on here to praise RAMA!! Rama provided an amazing experience taking us to the superclasico. He came up with a full plan and map for us so we knew exactly how to get into the stadium safely as the security for this game was very high. We were provided with an amazing meal and beers before the game. Rama was able to find us a spot right behind the goal with a perfect view of the whole pitch and amongst a bouncing atmosphere. By the end of our trip Rama became a friend to our whole group rather than just a tour guide as he helped us with so much more than just the match day experience

We had an amazing time visiting the River Plate game against Union. Ramiro is a great host, who made sure everyone had a nice evening. He tells a lot about the club and we thought it was a big plus that he is a very passionate River fan himself. On our way to the stadium Ramiro got us some beers to get the matchday feeling started. And after the game he took us for some more beers and a burger. After the game we kept in touch and Ramiro was so friendly to give us advice when we were visiting some other games on our own. And thanks again Ramiro for letting me watch the Feyenoord game on your account! As someone else already wrote earlier, Ramiro is indeed great company and it really felt like we made a new friend. We really hope to welcome you in Holland someday Ramiro, so we can take you to a Feyenoord game as well!

Ramiro was an amazing host!! He was communicative, fun, polite, and organized. My group met him at a train station stop. He welcomed us with a great attitude and immediately provided us with the game plan for the day. He did not miss a beat. He was friendly with an awesome sense of humor (and great taste in music I must add, ha)! After the game we went for burgers and beers. Ramiro was great company. I felt like we made a new friend.
