Medellin Street Football with Giant Empanadas

Ready to experience the real Colombia?

This fresh new tour introduces you to the unique football culture that exists in Medellin. And we’re going to take you back to where it all started, in the streets.

We begin by witnessing the city’s passion for the game at the largest outdoor sports centre in the city.

Here we learn about how football arrived in Colombia, how the streets created ‘microfutbol’, and all the controversies from the cartel era of football in the 80s and 90s.

We then witness a spectacular show from the city’s top football freestyler, with a brief chance to show him what you’ve got too…

Lastly, your local guide takes you to a raw and real neighbourhood where we enjoy VIP seats at the world’s greatest local street football tournament.

Expect magical skills, beautiful goals, and a cracking atmosphere.

While you take in the scenes, enjoy a delicious giant empanada (veggie options available) from a famous community spot.

When the final whistle blows, your local guide will stay with you to help arrange a taxi home.
