Ultimate Japan: Football Like a Local – 10-Day Trip

Experience Japan through one of the things that connects people everywhere: sport.

Based in Tokyo for 10 days, this trip combines Japanese football with local culture, food and activities that take you beyond the traditional sightseeing experience.

Throughout the trip, you'll enjoy three live sports experiences, primarily focused on Japanese football. Depending on the season and official schedules, baseball experiences may also be included, giving you the opportunity to experience two of Japan's biggest sporting cultures during the same trip.

Exact teams, sports and fixtures will be confirmed according to the official schedules and availability for your travel dates.

But live sport is only part of the journey.

Discover Tokyo by bike, play futsal with local people and explore Japan's football culture through a Captain Tsubasa experience and a stadium tour.

You'll also experience another side of Japanese culture with a Kintsugi or Sushi Workshop, before leaving Tokyo for a full-day trip to Kamakura or Nikko.

Your base throughout the trip will be APA Hotel Asakusabashi Ekikita or similar, with nine nights of accommodation and daily breakfast included. Accommodation is based on two guests sharing a Standard Double Room. Guests travelling alone or requesting a private room must select the Single Room Supplement when booking.
