If you want to understand what Atlético de Madrid means to its fans, come and spend a matchday with me.

I'm a lifelong Atleti supporter, and I'd love to show you how we get ready for a game.

We'll start with a beer at a local bar, talking football, sharing stories and getting to know each other. I'll teach you a few of our chants, so by the time we leave, you'll be ready to join in with the crowd.

Then comes one of my favourite parts: walking towards the Metropolitano with hundreds of other fans, surrounded by red and white shirts, songs and excitement as kick-off gets closer.

I'll help you get ready before you head inside with your match ticket. From there, it's all about enjoying the game and cheering on Atleti!
