What better way to experience the Mexican culture than trough one of Mexico's most vibrant traditions.
My name is Emilio and I'd love to share some of Mexico's wrestling culture. We will visit the Arena Coliseo de Occidente, a vibrant arena located in the heart of Guadalajara.
Our experience will beging 2 hours before the event starts. I'll pick you up from your hotel and we will head to the Arena.
Once there we will get something to eat and drink on one of the surrounding traditional bars (cantinas) and restaurants. Before the wrestling starts we will visit the mask stores that are right next to the Arena in case you want to buy a mask for the full experience. I will make sure to give you some background about the mask you choose.
The arena is filled with fans every week and the atmosphere couldn't get any better. You will have to choose to cheer for the Tecnicos or the Rudos, but whatever option you choose you have to make sure you support them troughout the whole match.
The wrestling event is part of Mexico's oldest and most traditional Wrestling company, home to some of the best wrestrlers in the world. Be ready to see wrestlers fly torugh the air and do some traditional "a raz de lona" wrestling.
After the event I will make sure to drive you safely to your hotel.
