My name is Gonçalo, and I’ve been playing rugby since 2011.

Since then, I’ve become a huge rugby fan, and I created this experience to share my passion for the sport and give visitors the chance to discover rugby in Portugal from a local’s perspective.

We’ll start the experience with a meal at a traditional Portuguese restaurant, where you’ll get to enjoy some delicious local food while we chat about rugby, the teams and what to expect from the match.

I’ll introduce you to Portugal’s rugby scene, how the sport has grown over the years, some of its key moments and what makes rugby culture here special.

Then it’s time for the highlight of the experience: a live rugby match in Lisbon!

We’ll head to the match together, and I’ll be with you throughout the experience, sharing my knowledge of the teams, the competition and Portuguese rugby culture.

Whether you already follow Portuguese rugby or are discovering it for the first time, this is a chance to experience a different side of Lisbon, enjoy good local food and spend a rugby matchday with someone who has been part of the sport for years.
