Thrilling experience with Marcelo in Rio for the cup semi-final against Vasco. Marcelo introduced me to all the pre-game hangout spots, explained in depth the history of the club, and ensured a seamless experience by getting all of the logistics in place. If you’re a football fan, I’d recommend it as a must - the atmosphere was jaw opening!

What a fabulous experience watching Fluminense at the Maracana. Such a privilege to see football in this iconic stadium. Never thought I would get the opportunity. Marcelo was excellent and Carrow was really nice with my wife. Being 68 & 69 it was reassuring to be looked after by such lovely people. One of the major highlights of our month's holiday. Having just returned from my 1st trip to Rio, I have to say the football match at Maracana stadium with Marcelo was one of the highlights of the entire trip. Marcelo met us at the metro station promptly, and took us to a local bar for a drink prior to the match. The match itself was epic with the home team scoring the winning goal in the last 10 seconds of extra time. There was an amazing atmosphere throughout the game, and of course complete jubilant chaos (in a good way) with the goal. I highly recommend this for any sports fan, or even if you don't like sports, just to begin to understand the passion for football in Brazil.

Incredible experience for me and my family, including 2 children (7&11). Marcelo met us at the agreed tube station and guide us to the pre-match bar. The atmosphere was incredible, is was very busy so we were so glad with booked this through Homefans. Great experience and would wholly recommend Marcelo, very friendly, very welcoming and very knowledgeable!

Absolutely brilliant! Football and Brazil go hand in hand, so seeing a match live here was a lifelong dream of mine—and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was electric. Watching Fluminense fans gather in the stadium before kick-off, singing for the team as the players warmed up, was something special. You just don’t get that back in England. And walking into the Maracanã with facial recognition tech? Properly impressive. No queues, no faffing with paper tickets or QR codes—just seamless. Snagging a Thiago Silva souvenir cup was the cherry on top!

I went with Marcelo to Maracanã Stadium. It was a complete experience. We had fun on the lively Rio metro, arrived at Maracanã with ease, started drinking beer, and soon watched Fluminense win 4-0. The stadium wasn’t packed, but the crowd was incredibly energetic. The drums and chants were electrifying. I don’t even know what else to say: Rio de Janeiro, Carnival, and Football. I returned home fulfilled. Thank you, Marcelo. More than a guide, a friend.

Favorite experience in Rio, the energy of Maracaná stadium is unmatched. Anyone wanting to see how passionate and friendly the people of the city are must sign up for this to have a true fan experience and immerse yourself in the culture as one of the teams die hard supporters.
