Make your own way to the hotel and check in — your welcome kit will be waiting in the room. Once you've dropped your bags, the afternoon shuttle takes you into Como. No agenda tonight. Walk the lakefront as the light drops behind the mountains, find a spot for an aperitivo, and get your bearings in the old town. It's the easy way to arrive: no rush, no fixtures, just the town settling into evening around you. Last shuttle back gives you the run of the place well into the night.
A full day to explore before the football. Take a boat across the lake, wander the narrow streets behind the cathedral, or ride the funicular up to Brunate for the view back down over the water. If matchday falls today, you'll head to the ground in the afternoon or evening via the shuttle — otherwise, it's a day to bank some memories of Como itself and keep the energy for the game. Either way you're never tied down; the shuttle keeps town, hotel and stadium all within easy reach.
The day the trip is built around. Spend the earlier hours as you like — a slow morning by the lake, a last look at the old town — then let the shuttle carry you toward Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia. Take your place in the Fan Sector as the ground fills. The lake sits just beyond the stands, the mountains behind them, and the noise builds the way it only does at a club that's fought its way back. This is the heart of it: flags, chants, and football framed like almost nowhere else in Europe. Afterwards, the evening shuttle brings you back into town to carry the night on.
Check out and make your onward journey. If your flight's later, the morning shuttle gives you one more run into Como for a coffee on the water before you go.
