Hi my name is Alberto and I’m a 28 years old Botafogo fan! I work as film director and producer in Rio and a great soccer enthusiast, especially Botafogo. As we say as Botafogo’s supporters, we were chosen, and in my case couldn’t be different. Being a Botafoguense is a tradition in my family, passed by generations since my grand granfather, who was one of the 10 first supporters to become a club associate.
Important: the experience gives you the ticket to the longdside upper sector, where is the most vivid sector of the stadium.
Founded in 1904, Botafogo is one of Brazil’s oldest and most traditional clubs. Over the years, the team has won countless titles and produced Brazilian soccer legends such as Garrincha and Carlos Alberto Torres. Although they’ve had ups and downs throughout their history, Botafogo are currently in great shape, fighting in the Libertadores and with a great chance of doing well in the Brazilian championship. You’ll have the chance to see this incredible team in action at the Nilton Santos stadium, together with me and my friends who are also passionate Botafogo fans.

Imagine joining a local guide who is passionate about soccer for a full day of fun, culture and history of Rio soccer. We’ll start our day at a meeting point in Copacabana, where I’ll take you by subway and train to the stadium. Then, we’ll meet other Botafogo fans in a traditional place were Botafogo’s fans hustle up to enjoy the pre-match moment. There you can enjoy drinks and a barbecue while learning more about Rio’s soccer culture and Botafogo’s history and getting the inside scoop on the clubs and competitions! After soaking up the pre-match atmosphere, we’ll head to the stands!
We will then embark on an exciting journey at the Nilton Santos Stadium. The building was completed in 2007 and hosted the athletics games at the 2016 Olympic Games, that I was part of the broadcasting team. This is where the action really begins! You’ll have the chance to join the passionate Botafogo fans, supporting their team in a unique and vibrant atmosphere. I’ll be by your side throughout the game, explaining the moves and the club’s traditions.

Alberto contacted me a week before the game and explained the process of face-id very good. We met at the subwaystation and together we travelled to the stadium. Alberto told me a lot about Botafogo during this trip. Near the stadium we took a beer and enjoyed the pre-game atmospere. Although the game ended in a draw, the match day experience was great! Thanks for the great day Alberto!

You want to experience something special. Go to Botafogo. Go with Alberto. A 5-star combination. This experience is unique. The stadium and the fans create an incredible atmosphere and you are right in the middle of it. Before you go, Alberto takes care of everything. He will give you excellent support. He gets in touch early enough to clarify all the details. And he is super organized. Alberto will be at your side from the meeting point until the return journey. On the way to the stadium, there is time to learn something about Botafogo and Brazilian soccer. Alberto is a pleasant conversation partner and he is very well informed - a real local fan. On the train and at the station, the fans create a great atmosphere. Together with Alberto and the fans, we head to the stadium. A beer is a must. You have an excellent view from the seats. The fans around you make a lot of noise. Pure passion. Amazing. Of course you join in. Between all the supporters, you become one of them. This is sport. This is football. At the end, we leave the stadium singing. Alberto brings you this experience. Thank you, Bro. It was incredible.

It was a truly amazing experience. If you want to have a truly authentic football experience, Alberto is the right choice. He is truly passionate about his team, knows everything about them, even the behind-the-scenes stuff. The conversation with him was extremely pleasant and relaxed, while also giving us an insight into the everyday life of Rio/Brazil. All his instructions regarding the entire process, including buying tickets, attending the football match itself, getting to the stadium, and the pre-match atmosphere, were perfectly and clearly communicated. 11/10 experience. If you want the full Botafogo experience Alberto is the way to go. We went to the Botafogo Vs Flamengo game which could get really heated because it's a local derby. He picked us up at the metro station and brought us back to the hotel after the game. He knew everything about his club and even told us stories and facts during the game, for example when a player got subbed. He connected us with local fans which were all really kind and happy to host us at their stadium. We are all Botafogo fans now. Couldn't have been better, thanks again!
