Day 1: Welcome to Rio de Janeiro

Today is gathering day, people from all over the world will arrive today at different times. Regardless of that, if you have booked an airport transfer (as an extra), it will be waiting for you. Your Trip Manager will arrange a private car for you once you land. If you arrive in the afternoon, check-in and room will be ready. For arrivals in the morning, we will do our best to accommodate you, but please bear in mind will be upon availability. For the rest of the day, you can take it easy and recover from your long travels. At night, your travel manager and local host will be on hand with the best recommendations for a great dinner. And why not begin the experience with some Brazilian steaks and some caipirinhas? Enjoy the most out of your first day and feel the heat!
Day 2 and 3: Matchday Experiences

We will pick the best match based on fixtures but regardless of the team we will offer a full match day experience (sometimes 2 in one day!). Before the match you will meet with a local fan who will accompany you to an area close to the stadium to experience all the pre-match build up with the home supporters. From there head to the stadium and take your seats for another remarkable spectacle. Are you ready?
Day 4: Stadium Tours

Get ready to visit two of the most iconic stadium in the world: the Maracanã and São Januário Staidum! Feels like a football/soccer star entering the field on this 3-hour tour of two legendary stadium in Brazil. See a collection of mementoes of the stars who made history in brazilian and world football. Get ready for an exciting journey, exploring its history with video, sound and a variety of different experiences.
Day 5: Free Day

You will have this day free to get to know the city better and visit tourist attractions. Consult our trip manager for the best recommendations for tourist places!
Day 6: Flight to Buenos Aires

Time to say goodbye to Río. We hope you had a wonderful time in this amazing city and get inmersed in their football passion atmosphere! Transfer to the airport is not included, but you can book it as an extra.
Day 7: Bike Tour in Buenos Aires

Wake up! Grab your morning coffee and get ready to cycle. You will have the chance to explore some off the record places in Buenos Aires, know more about the culture but not missing the football identity. Our host will meet you at a meeting point previously designated.
Day 8: Free day in Buenos Aires

Time to recover and keep exploring Buenos Aires. Have you ever dream with discover more about Diego Maradona? You could visit Maradona's house or the Argentinos Juniors museum to learn more about the early days of Diego. And how about Pope Francis? He is a deep San Lorenzo fan, and you will have the chance to walk the same streets he walked in Boedo neighbourhood.
Day 9: Match Day!

Finally is here! With our Local Host you will get inmersed in the true football atmosphere! Today may be Huracan, Argentinos Juniors, or Velez. Our local team will study the fixtures and decide what would be the most exciting matches for you to attend. As normal this will be a full matchday experience. We will prepare for the match by gathering for some beer, burgers, and storytelling with your local host. This will take place in an area where the home fans gather and you will find a carnival-like pre-match experience. Then your host leads us to the stadium where we take our seats for the main event. Enjoy another day of football and experience the true Argentinian football culture at one of these iconic clubs.
Day 10: Matchday experience. River Plate or Boca Juniors time!

Another day, another unforgettable Buenos Aires football match. Today is the time for River Plate or Boca Juniors. At El Monumental (River Plate Stadium) or La Bombonera (Boca Juniors stadium), you will get the full matchday experience. We will head to an area where the home fans gather to enjoy some beers and a burger and soak in the carnival-like pre match experience. Then your host leads us to the stadium where we take our seats for 90 minutes of pure football joy.
Day 11: Time to say goodbye!

Everything comes to an end, unfotunatelly. We hope you had an amazing time discovering the football culture in South America, had met good friends and get lifetime memories back home. Do not forget to post your pictures on social media and tag us, we love to see you with a happy smile on your face! Last but not least, reach our team to book your transfer to the airport.

A fantastic experience. Booked with HomeFans for the combined Buenos Aires-Rio adventure. Everything about the organisation was superb - from the pre-trip advice and communications when it came to selecting the best dates, to the hotels provided (both 4* and perfectly located in each city) and the match experiences themselves. I managed to get to three games in BA (booked an extra match whilst there) and two in Rio. The hosts each time were superb ensuring we experienced the true pre match experience as well as getting great spots in each stadium and really feeling part of the home crowd. I booked a few add on stadium tours as well and again, was really well looked after and found out so much more about each stadium as well as accessing pitch side, changing rooms etc at the likes of the Maracana and Monumental. Could not rate HomeFans highly enough - just superb.
