Taking the name of its city, São Paulo FC is one of the most traditional clubs in South America. I’ll tell you a little about its great achievements. In Brazil, it is the team with the most international achievements, the most relevant being 3 Copa Libertadores, 3 FIFA Club World Cup and 1 Copa Sudamericana, in the national scenario it has 6 league titles. It is known in Brazil as Tricolor Paulista.

One of the factors that make São Paulo FC an opponent to be feared is its stadium, Cícero Pompeu de Toledo, better known as Morumbi. This is a stadium with the capacity to accommodate 66,795 people, one of the largest in Brazil.

Join me in this incredible experience that is a match at Morumbi and watching São Paulo FC.

Currently the club’s phase is not the best, it has reached the final stages of competitions, but not with the expected performance. The fans have a lot of expectations for this end of the year, with the arrival of names like Oscar and Lucas Moura. The squad is full of names that are very well regarded by the fans, we have the great number 9 Calleri, the defender of the Ecuador National Team Arboleda, the right back who played for Arsenal Cedric. All led by one of the great names of the Brazilian scene Hernan Crespo.

Before the match, we will meet at São Paulo – Morumbi Station, which is the closest station to the stadium. From there, we set out on a walk of approximately 10 minutes along the avenue, where we will be in the middle of the crowd of São Paulo fans, already showing a little of the atmosphere that awaits us at the stadium. Many have a tradition of going to the stadium to eat one of the wonderful snacks sold nearby, such as the ham sandwich or the skewers, accompanied by a cold beer or soft drink. This moment is something valuable and remarkable for anyone who wants the complete immersion of watching a football match in São Paulo.

During the match, you will be able to feel all the vibration and passion of the São Paulo fans, the impactful atmosphere that motivates and pushes the players on the field and brings the understanding of an iconic phrase said by an Argentine fan in 2005 “El Morumbi te mata”, after great games and a show put on by the crowd.

After the game, we can share a little about our opinions of this incredible experience that is a São Paulo match, have a beer, talk about the game and everything that involves our day. When it’s time to leave, I’ll accompany you to the best place to order an Uber or to the nearest station. After that day, we will leave an incredible memory of what São Paulo FC is and a game at the incredible Stadium Morumbi.

My time in São Paulo with Matheus was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we met, he made us feel like locals. He shared his deep passion for his football club. We learned about the history of the club, and joined other local fans for food and drinks. Matheus took care of every detail, from getting us safely to the game to making sure we understood the chants and traditions. The atmosphere inside the stadium was electric!! If you’re thinking about going to a game in Brazil, do it! One of the highlights of our stay in São Paulo.

I had an excellent matchday experience with Matheus. He was very friendly, communication was good and everything was well organized from start to finish. View was good in the stadium and it was great to be with a group of international travellers. Definitely recommend when you are in São Paulo!

If I could give zero review, I would. Avoid using this host. Got scammed for both matches in Sao Paolo. He will attempt to upgrade at a higher price outside HomeFans platform then provide the cheapest seat in the stadium that costs $5-10 with full obstruction of the pitch, no assigned seat and full sector where you can’t even get standing room place to watch the match. Left after 15 minutes after traveling all the way 8,000km. He will also book pre-match “experience” 30 minutes before match to avoid buying any drinks and streed food as included in the advertisement. It’s minor but everything he does is to maximize his own profit and make your experience a miserable one. He is a scalper/ticket gouger, nothing more. Avoid!

One cannot visit Brazil and simply not watch a Futebal game! As a foreigner, I wasn't sure on the means to attend a Futebal game in Sao Paulo, since I don't have a CFP number. Google Ad algo eventually connected me with Homefans and, after a little research, I quickly realized that Homefans was the way to go! Matheus was very prompt in his communication, and he offered us a detailed guideline days ahead of game. Matheus didn't just grant us access to the game; he offered us an immersive cultural experience. Upon meeting the group at the meeting spot, we walked down the main street, where we stopped for beers, food & restrooms. Matheus gave us the footballing knowledge needed ahead of entry to the stadium. He also informed us of the players to watch. At the stadium, the atmosphere was exhilarating. As a novice photographer, Matheus indicated to us the right moments to capture photos. We all felt very safe in his company and enjoyed ourselves! If you're in Sao Paulo, Matheus is the one to connect with.

We had a wonderful time attending the São Paulo soccer match and would highly recommend booking this tour. Our main guide, Matheus, along with two other guides, João and Renan, took us safely to and from the game, answered any questions we had, and showed us the love they had for their team. The communication they provided was timely, proactive, and clear. Their ability to speak in English and Portuguese was so helpful for us visiting from USA. While the game was thrilling (and São Paulo won!) our favorite part was actually meeting the guides and all the other tour guests from so many different countries. There was a nice amount of time before and after the game to spend time together bonding over our shared loved of travel and football while enjoying great food and drinks. You should definitely book this tour!

Booked with home fans last minute as we drop on a fixture for SPFC We was short on time and was unsure if it was possible to make on time. Matheus made all this stress free and a really fun experience. Would recommend visiting the MorumBIS Stadium the atmosphere was electric from start to finish. Pre and after game drinks were great and made for the experience of a SPFC home game. MorumBIS also cared for everyone's safety before and after the game and made sure everyone in our group was safely back to accommodation! 10/10

The entire experience from start to finish was great! The guys were super friendly and the group wasn't too big which was nice. They really made a full evening of the game and we got the full SPFC experience, from the pregame fun all the way to the end of the evening. I did the experience as a solo female traveller and felt 1000% safe the entire time, the guides even made sure to check i got back to my accommodation okay. 11/10 would recommend!

We booked a game experience with Matheus on a Copa Libertardores night and really enjoyed the entire event from start to end. He took good care of us in any aspect you can imagine and guided us through an incredible experience (e.g transportation, ticketing, seats etc). Matheus knows a lot of great people around the ground, so get ready for some drinks, fun, and a buzzing atmosphere thanks to the passionate SPFC fans.
