I had an amazing experience watching the River Plate vs. Rosario Central match at the Amazing Monumental in Buenos Aires. We went to a Copa Libertadores match and it was an unforgettable night! The seats have a spectacular view, the people, the team, the game...everything amazing! Special mention to Federico and his father, I couldn't recommend them more, the group met all for "la previa" and after that we went to the stadium. He made sure that we were all comfortable and explained everything in great detail. We also met after the match and went to have some dinner to finish an extraordinary night. Absolutely 100% recommended, a once in a lifetime experience. Gracias Fede :) y vamos River!!!

Excellent day at an amazing football stadium. Everything was organised superbly and the seats were in a great location. Easily the most modern stadium out of the 5 I went to in Buenos Aires. Federico was a great host who ensured everything went smoothly and coped with our Glaswegian accents perfectively!

Very quickly you realised these guys are locals and know all the key details to enjoy the experience without any issues. All communication, transport and timing was perfectly right. The match was awesome, full of goals !!. Federico was an excellent host. Federico and his dad were amazing hosts. Had beers waiting for us at the pre-game in the neighborhood before the match, was very gracious and knowledgeable and helpful. Monumental did not disappoint, and Federico made sure we all had a great time watching a River win! After the game he and his dad hosted us all for some Milanesa and pizza and made sure we all got back safely. What a great time - thank you again!

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! I went to Buenos Aires as a Solo Traveller, passionate on seeing as many football games as I could! This experience was special in so many ways. Not only was I fortunate to experience the Libertadores fixture against Fluminense, which provided Top quality football, a bouncing Estadio Mas Monumental and memories for a lifetime. I was also taken back by how much of a legend Joseph was, a great host who will crack open a beer for you on arrival and share that sense of excitement of watching River Plate. Not only this having the interaction with the locals before the game, offers the real Argentinian football experience and shows the the depth of love for the game they have out there. 11/10 would recommend to anyone, it’s a must if you’re visiting Buenos Aires.

This was such a perfect experience. We booked the day before the game and it could not have been easier. We showed up at a restaurant pre-game for some beers and Argentinian food. Then we walked around the neighborhood and they provided some fernet and beers in a cooler before we went in. The host was super friendly and knowledgable. The game was a blast. I would 100% recommend this experience to casual and hardcore fans alike.

Much of the experience of a trip to see River is made by the ground, and the passionate fans. But the hosting team only added to a great experience - drinks beforehand amid the locals, careful stewardship of our group through the crowds to the stadium and then a meaty snack and drinks at the end. Well done Joe!

We started at Bilbos who provided us with amazing Milanese! Fede with his dad and friend then brought us drinks in a cooler to have on the street which was a nice touch. The group was fantastic to socialise with and then enjoy the matchday atmosphere of the stadium of River Plate.

We had a brilliant time at River Plate’s game vs Arsenal de Sarandi. Our host Fede brought us for a nice meal beforehand and then for some beers nearby. He helped us get into the stadium without any issues and despite River losing the game, it was an atmosphere and experience that we will never forget.

From start to finish, an incredible match day with Fede. As a groundhopper, who has gone all around the globe watching football, this exceeded all expectations as a football trip with a full authentic experience. Before we even met, receiving club information and rumoured starting XI line ups, to starting the actual day with a proper Argentinian meal and beers with Fede, his father and family. Truly going through the day with how a die hard River Plate season ticket holder goes about theirs - whether they have guests or not. After the meal, we then walked through the streets, with more beers of course, and soaked up the famous River Plate pre-match atmosphere. Hearing stories and tales of games and experiences past from a true fan really makes everything worthwhile. Whilst the result didn’t go River Plate’s way, the atmosphere was everything and more than I had hoped for, from a truly bucket list groundhop. If you are in Buenos Aires and looking to experience a game, I couldn’t recommend booking the full day experience with Fede enough. Truly a one of a kind host and wish him, his family and friends that looked after us so spectacularly all the best! Vamos River Plate

As it's quite difficult to get tickets to a game we used the service of homefans. We were not dissapointed. We got great ticket and didn't have to worry about anything. I was fortunate enough to get a ticket for River Plate's title-winning match against Racing Club. Alvaro proved to be an amazing guide and was very hospitable, always available to answer any questions. He knows a lot about football and the city of Buenos Aires. Getting into the stadium was easy, even for an English-only speaker. The seat was perfect, as goes for the overall experience. I can definitely recommend the services offered by Homefans. Getting tickets for the game was a piece of cake with this service. Alvaro was a great guide. Getting into the stadium was easy and I don't know how I would have gone to the match otherwise as a non-native and English-only speaker. The match itself was great (go River Plate!) and our seats were amazing. I'll be using Alvaro again next time I'm in BA.

Our guide Alvaro was extremely attentive, prompt, flexible, and professional with regards to scheduling this visit as well as answering any questions. He is very knowledgeable about Argentine football and made himself available nearly 24/7. We were able to bypass a lot of the difficulties associated with securing a spot in the Monumental and watched River Plate lift the league trophy in a historic 4-0 win over Racing Club along with 72,000+ passionate supporters. I went with friends from Argentina and the U.S and both said it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I had been to the Monumental before, but I had never been so close to the action with such awesome seats-- right next to the pitch and with a clear view of all of the action and festivities. At one point we. realized we were sitting immediately behind River Plate's Captain's family when a radio station came to interview them after the match. Definitely exceeded my expectations; unlike anything i've experienced before, 10/10.
