The Superclásico is the highlight of this 7-day tour, but there’s much more on offer. You will take a tour of the city to see some of the most beautiful football murals and also attend a match of Velez, Huracan, San Lorenzo or other teams during your stay in Buenos Aires.

- River v Boca (at Estadio Más Monumental): Matchday date April 19th, 2026. Trip start date: April 16th, 2026.
- Boca v River (at La Bombonera): Round 15 of the tournament. Dates haven’t yet been published but we expect mid November as the most likely date.

Day 1 - Welcome to Buenos Aires!
Be prepared for the most intense and exciting football experience of your life! We are chuffed to have you with us and that is why we want to give you some bits and bots, as well as some tips for the hidden little gems you can find in this vibrant city. Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and home of some of the biggest football clubs in South America. For decades it was considered the most modern capital in the southern continent, comparable to other capitals in Europe. The city is a mixture of 4 components that makes life so special: Their passion for fútbol (and worship for their idols such as Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi and Román Riquelme), the nightlife full of great clubs and bars (we’ve been there, and believe, it is THE city that never sleeps) and the pleasure for eating great food and drinking wine! Football? it is just passión, passión and passión. Buenos Aires is considered the capital of football in the world, holding a record of more clubs playing in the first division in the same city. Boca Juniors, River Plate, Racing Club, Independiente, San Lorenzo, Huracán, Vélez. Countless clubs with a great number of CRAZY supporters, that absolutely love their clubs no matter what. You are going to experience the biggest game on earth: Superclásico - between Boca Juniors x River Plate. We will guide you to La Boca neighbourhood,have a lesson on how to cheer for Boca and attend THE match at La Bombonera, packed with more than 45.000 fans! Today is arrival day, people from all over the world will arrive today at different times. Regardless of that, we have arranged an airport transfer for all of you. A driver's assistant will be outside the customs area with a sign with your names, near the McDonalds in the main hall. If you arrive in the afternoon, check-in and the apartment will be ready. For the rest of the day, you can take it easy and recover from your long travels or start exploring the city and its beautiful sights.

Day 2 - Matchday
Time for our first Matchday in Buenos Aires! Today may be Huracan, Argentinos Juniors, or Velez. Our local team will study the fixtures and decide what would be the most exciting matches for you to attend. As normal this will be a full matchday experience. We will prepare for the match by gathering for some beer and storytelling with your local host. This will take place in an area where the home fans gather and you will find a carnival-like pre-match experience. Then your host leads us to the stadium where we take our seats for the main event. Enjoy another day of football and experience the true Argentinian football culture at one of these iconic clubs.

Day 3 - Superclasico: Boca Juniors v River Plate!
Finally, the big day has arrived! Our day will start very early, around 4 hours before kick off. We will meetup in a selected meeting point to jump into the van and go straight to "La Previa": The pre-game will include some beers for you, where you get immersed into the local atmosphere (and learning some chants, why not?). The tension will start rising up, time to talk about the starting 11 of each team and see the chances of each one before going to the stands. We will enter the stadium early, around 1.5hs before kick off - bear in mind that this is the game with highest demand of the year, and we want to avoid any kind of delay so you not miss anything inside the stadium! Get prepare for the most shocking team welcome, Superclasico is here! 90 minutes of the most die-hard ravalry on earth. Enjoy!

Day 4 - Bike tour
The calm after the storm. Today will be dedicated to getting to know the city more and having a nice and cool city tour through the main sights… on a bike! You will visit many important spots in the city intertwined with football culture. One of the highlights is Caminito in Barrio de Boca, Boca Juniors colourful neighbourhood packed with amazing steak restaurants, tango shops, a Maradona famous double, and of course, La Bombonera! Then, you can take a walk through Puerto Madero, a posh area where the river cross and has a lot of bars to hang out for a beer in the afternoon! After that, your local host will take you to the Recoleta Cemetery, a well-known attraction because of the size and important personalities buried there. At night, do you fancy some steaks (of course) and wine? We can recommend some fantastic places in Buenos Aires for some of the best food and drinks in the city. is very likely that, depending on the group size, there will be 2 shifts for the bike tour: morning and noon

Day 5 - Free day - Optional tours
We will give you some free time to explore the city your own way. But bear in mind that we have some nice offers for you, in case you want to dive deep into the local football culture and history! Maradona Tour, Boca and River tour and Museo Top are the options. Contact our sales team!

Day 6 - Atlanta stadium & Farewell Asado
Our trip is coming to an end, but what a journey it has been! You will enjoy your last day in Buenos Aires by going to check other football landmark in your bucketlist. Buenos Aires has a very uncommon world record: It's the city with more professional stadiums per square meter in the world, with 18 in total (More than big cities like London), and if we talk about football, the iceber goes way beyond the first division. Atlanta is one of the most iconic clubs in Buenos Aires, and the club itself invites us to explore their facilities! But we won't say goodbye until we do a proper Asado, at the most argentinean way, including food and beers. Depending on the group size, the venue may vary.

Day 7 - Time to Say Goodbye
Take all your good memories (and pictures and videos of course) into your luggage. Buenos Aires has given the best to you, and we are more than happy to provide this memories to a football lover like us! I can’t seem to get on their review page . Can you post this on there mate 22 of us from South Wales with friends from Liverpool and Manchester booked with Homefans over 18 months ago for several games in Buenos Aires including the much anticipated Superclásico of Boca Juniors v River Plate at La Bombonera. A venue which has become a ground hopping hotspot over the years but to see one of the biggest games in world football was an added bonus, and it didn’t disappoint. I can speak for all our party when I say it was one of the most incredible spectacles we’ve ever witnessed. If that can ever be beaten we want to know where and when! Homefans have been exceptional from day one and have smoothly guided us for months leading up to the eight day visit. Matches we experienced at Huracan, Argentinos Juniors and of course Boca Juniors exceeded all expectations and more. The hospitality provided by our hosts Chan,Sol & Andrea was exemplary and we all gained a lot of knowledge about the history of those iconic clubs. Our apartment in Belgrano was first rate and the transfers as comfortable and punctual as we could have hoped for. Our kind of bag. We hoped to chisel another fixture or two in but time was against us. We’ll put that on the back burner for next time, which we’re already discussing. Wow what can I say a dream come true for me to get to South America but to do the superclassico as well was just unbelievable! I literally had goosebumps all down my back when the players came out and it was everything I thought it was going to be and more! Homefans and the amazing hosts made this possible and everything from the organisation and friendly banter just made the experience even better! I would not hesitate to highly recommend Homefans to anyone and hopefully in a couple of years I will bring my son back with me to do another superclassico!

What an unforgettable and life changing experience fulfilling my dream of visiting the home of my football idol Diego and Boca Juniors. The Superclasico was more than I dreamed of and has changed the way I view football. In Europe we forgot that football was about the fans and turn d into a corporate experience. Finally special thanks to my hosts who made the two football days at Huracan and Boca amazing. A big thanks to Valentin, Mariano, Lorenzo, Ramiro, Barbie, Liber, Gonzalo and Tobias for all your hard work and patience. Still can’t believe I have been to see the Superclasico at the Bombonera. Not only that, we saw Racing v Independiente, Platense v Argentinos Juniors and three stadia in Montevideo - all in one week! This was a brilliant trip, Valentino, Mariano and the rest of the team arranged everything for us and made sure we were well looked after. Any questions we had were quickly answered and made the trip easy. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport and accommodation was good too. The highlight of the trip being the super clasico game, I had front row seats and an amazing view and experience. This is one trip you need to do, I hope to do more of these trips in the future with homefans
