Take your time for check in, Bilbao awaits for you! you will be part of a weekend trip that cover much more than football. Tonight, time to enjoy some local beers in a typical pub, where you will meet your host for the weekend. In case you need airport transfer, contact our sales team
Bilbao is one of the most beautiful cities in all Europe, so it will be a shame if we don’t go through it’s streets and explore it. And with this bike tour, guided by Aitor and Rober, it’s the best way to do it. We will cycle and enjoy the most iconic landmarks, starting near Casco Viejo. E-bikes ara available at extra cost.
Finally, the big day is here, Athletic and Real Sociedad will clash and see who’s the boss of the Basque Country. Our day will start with a Pinxos tour, with Aitor and Rober, where we will enjoy the most delicious local food and beers, while we warm up for the game. This tour is not included in the price, but can be added as an extra. Then, the Peña Athletic and it’s fans wait for us. Time to feeling the atmosphere before jumping into the tram and going to San Mamés. Once inside the stadium, you can enjoy all the facilities, food and drinks of the Hospitality sector in the stadium. Time to enjoy! Note: The game day itinerary will be defined according to the kick off time
Back to normalcy. You will wake up still feeling the blast from the day before. And that’s fine, trust us. Time to bid a farewell to your local host and fellow travellers and exchange contacts. I recently had the chance to experience a Basque Derby in Bilbao, and it was amazing! I went to the pre-match with a local guide who really showed me what it’s like to be a local fan. We walked around the city, grabbed drinks, and I got to see how the fans get ready for the game. What really blew me away was how the fans of both teams—Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad—were celebrating together, enjoying the moment, even though they’re big rivals. It was so cool to see that kind of respect and fun between the two fanbases. The match itself was intense, but the real highlight for me was the atmosphere before the game. The fans were so passionate, and the whole vibe in the streets was electric. After the game, the celebration continued, and everyone was in a good mood. I left Bilbao already planning my next trip with Homefans to the Basque Country. I can’t wait to catch the next Derby in San Sebastián—it’s definitely something every football fan should experience!

I've attended many derbies across Europe, but this one really stole my heart. The idea that both fanbases can share the exciting pre-match atmosphere and experience together without any troubles is amazing! Hotel was really modern and well located , just 2 blocks from the Stadium. Roberto, our guide was really good and made us feel and understand the passion and importance of the club. And the hospitality area inside the ground was mesmerizing - best food you'll ever have in a stadium! I will come back. Thanks for a great experience!
