Day 1: Welcome to Stockholm
Are you ready for your football weekend? Let’s kick it off in style. Today, you'll arrive in Stockholm and check in at your 3* apartment, your base for the weekend. After settling in and dropping off your luggage, take some time to explore the city at your own pace. In the evening, we recommend heading to a local pub to soak up the atmosphere and warm up for matchday tomorrow. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink, meet fellow football travelers, and enjoy the local vibe before the big game.

Day 2: Match Day
MATCHDAY! Today is the day. You'll experience the derby between Hammarby against Djurgärden / AIK. Be prepared for an unforgettable football experience, one of Swedish biggest derbies of the season is here. A derby that should be on your bucket list as it's one of the biggest Scandinavian derbies. Before the match, we'll have a drink at one of the traditional Hammarby pubs and soak up in the atmosphere before the match. Expect an incredible atmosphere from both fan groups!

On your last day, take some time to explore more of the beautiful Swedish capital. Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and recover from the night before. Having used homefans multiple times this was disappointing. At no point was this a hosted experience, the host contacted us twice in total with both an attempt to get us to his shop. The hotel on the booking form was wrong, so we turned up only to be sent away. Half hour taxi at our own expense later we were at the correct hotel. Game was good so if you just want a ticket fine, if not you can arrange better on your own.

It was a fantastic derby match with the correct ingredients: e.g. passion, end to end play, goals and of course a red card. Both sets of fans made their presence felt with their choreographies and singing. Hence, have enjoyed the match and atmosphere. In addition, the match has coincide with a major event in Stockholm, hence, was really pleased with the accommodation at a convenient location in central Stockholm. Thanks to Homefans and the local hosts for the kind arrangements.

After months in the making, the trip delivered everything and more than what I expected, it was the complete weekend. The organisation from start to finish really was first class. I didn't expect to feel so welcome in a foreign country, especially from another club. The game wasn't a classic, but will be one I never forget.
