  Our guide, Melvin, was very kind. Despite the fact that tickets were difficult to obtain due to the incident that occurred before the derby match, he managed to arrange the tickets for us. He also did a great job of checking in advance, which allowed us to travel smoothly. Although it was a bit expensive, we didn't lose anything. Thank you so much. I would definitely ask him for help again if I have the opportunity.

  Me and 3 friends met Melvin at Central Station before having a lovely tour of the city. Melvin was very knowledgeable throughout and the snack he bought for us was delicious. Ajax weren’t great in the match we seen but the atmosphere was incredible and the views of the pitch were excellent. Can’t recommend an experience Melvin enough. Really nice man with excellent knowledge of both Amsterdam and more importantly Ajax

  Excellent trip with my 12 year old son. Melvin couldn't do enough to help and to show Amsterdam to us. I previously been to Amsterdam but I learn alot more. My son was delighted to see Ajax played and the fantastic atmosphere.

  Wir besuchten mit Melvin das Spiel Ajax gg. Heracles Almelo. Melvin war freundlich und umgänglich sowie bemüht das Drumherum, vor dem Spiel, interessant zu gestalten. Positiv war der Treff, ca. 4h vor dem Spiel am Amsterdam Centraal und einem anschließenden Besuch im Ajax-Fanshop. Was uns gefehlt hat, waren Geschichten und Erlebnisse über im Zusammenhang mit Ajax-Spielen von Seiten Melvins. Immerhin wird er in seinem Profil mit der Bezeichnung "livelong Ajax Fan". Aber das liegt vielleicht auch an seinem jungen Alter. Wer also einen erfahrenen Stadionbesucher sucht, der mit nostalgischen, fussballromantischen Berichten aufwarten kann, der sollte sich ein älteren Guide suchen. Melvin ist umgänglich aber man merkt ihm die seine mangelnde Erfahrung an. Negativ war, dass manche Absprachen., die Melvin per whatsapp oder per Anruf mit uns getätigt hat, nicht eingehalten wurden. Er schrieb uns bspw. dass der Nahverkehr zum Stadion von Ihm übernommen wird bzw. im gezahlten Preis von 125,00€/Person enthalten ist. Am Spieltag dann, mussten wir den Fahrpreis von jeweils 12,00€/Person selbst tragen. An sich kein Problem. Wenn allerdings vorher gesagt wird, dass das inkludiert ist, sollten man sich auch daran halten. Des Weiteren haben wir Tickets für einen anderen Block im Stadion erhalten. Diese Tickets wurden uns per whatsapp-Nachricht von Melvin angeboten ohne Aufpreis. Auch auf Nachfrage unsererseits ob sich etwas am Preis damit ändert, kam die Antwort: "Sie haben mit 125,00€ schon genug bezahlt, der Ticketpreis ändert sich nicht". Am nächsten Tag bekamen wir von Melvin eine Nachricht, dass wir 100,00€ in bar am Spieltag für die Tickets mitbringen sollen. Dieser Absprachebruch ging für uns gar nicht, was wir ihm auch entsprechend mitteilten. Schlussendlich mussten wir den "Aufpreis" nicht bezahlen aber das hinterlässt einen ganz schlechten Eindruck. Zukünftigen Besuchern empfehlen wir genau darauf zu achten, was Melvin mit euch bespricht und was nicht. Melvin hat schon, im Vergleich zu den anderen Ajax Hosts, den höchsten Preis. Wenn dann im Nachgang noch Kosten hinzukommen, ohne das entsprechend zu kommunizieren, ist das nicht in Ordnung.

  Everything was perfect with Melvin. He was very accommodating and communicative. We had a great experience! Melvin is very passionate about Ajax and helped to provide a great atmosphere for the match. Melvin was a great host and was attentive to make sure you were safe and enjoying the moment. I'd recommend this experience for sure!

  From the moment we met Melvin at Central Station, it was clear we were in for something special. His energy, passion for Ajax, and deep love for Amsterdam made this experience far more than just a football outing, it was a cultural adventure wrapped in excitement and camaraderie. The walking tour in Amsterdam was a perfect warm-up: six iconic highlights of the city, each brought to life with Melvin’s fun facts and stories. And the surprise Dutch snack? Let’s just say it was deliciously memorable and added a charming local touch. Inside Johan Cruyff ArenA, the atmosphere was electric. Singing the Ajax anthem with fellow fans gave us goosebumps. Melvin’s multilingual skills, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm made this experience feel personal and unforgettable. If you're an Ajax fan, you just like football or just someone looking for an authentic slice of Amsterdam this is the matchday you’ve been dreaming of.   It was an absolutely unforgettable experience! My partner’s birthday is on August 10, so I decided to surprise him with tickets to the Ajax vs. Telstar game. Our amazing fan buddy Melvin (found via homefans.com) organized everything with incredible care, energy, and passion. Before the match, he gave us a fascinating walking tour through the beautiful historical center of the city, sharing fun facts and stories. He played his role so convincingly that my partner had no idea where we were really heading! We had a couple of calls beforehand to coordinate every detail, and Melvin made sure everything ran perfectly. Instead of the crowded main entrance, he guided us through a much quieter alternative entry to the stadium. He told us about Dutch football culture, the teams, and the players’ lineups. Then came the big reveal—our amazing seats with an outstanding view! My partner was shocked and overjoyed. Melvin truly went above and beyond, and his dedication made this surprise even more special.
