Enjoy another unforgettable day of football and dive deep into true Argentinian football culture at one of these iconic clubs.

  3. 🏟 Day 3 - Matchday (Boca or River)

Sunday equals football in Buenos Aires. But you can enjoy a wonderful day by your own while prepare fot the afternoon game, it's time for Boca or River, according to Argentina fixtures. Our matchday will start around 3 hours before the kick off, with transportation included to the meeting point with the Local Host. 4. 🚶Day 4 - Free day - Optional Maradona tour

We will give you some time to explore the wonderful city of Buenos Aires, following our team members and local host reccommendations. But, in case you want to dive deep into the football culture in Buenos Aires, we deeply reccommend our Maradona tour, that includes lunch, access to Casa de Dios museum, and where you will know Maradona's first steps in football as you never done before! Note: This tour is not included, but can be added as an extra.

  5. Day 5 - Bike Tour

Today will be dedicated to getting to know the city more and having a nice and cool city tour through the main sights… on a bike! You will visit many important spots in the city intertwined with football culture. One of the highlights is Caminito in Barrio de Boca, Boca Juniors colourful neighbourhood packed with amazing steak restaurants, tango shops, a Maradona famous double, and of course, La Bombonera! Then, you can take a walk through Puerto Madero, a posh area where the river cross and has a lot of bars to hang out for a beer in the afternoon! After that, your local host will take you to the Recoleta Cemetery, a well-known attraction because of the size and important personalities buried there. At night, do you fancy some steaks (of course) and wine? We can recommend some fantastic places in Buenos Aires for some of the best food and drinks in the city.

  6. 🏟 Day 6 - Atlanta Stadium Tour & Asado

Buenos Aires has a very uncommon world record: It's the city with more professional stadiums per square meter in the world, with 18 in total (More than big cities like London), and if we talk about football, the iceber goes way beyond the first division. Atlanta is one of the most iconic clubs in Buenos Aires, and the club itself invites us to explore their facilities! At night, we will taste the most typical Argentinean dish: The Asado. Save some space in your stomach, because tonight you will lick your fingers!

  7. 🚶Day 7 - Free day - Optional Boca & River tours

You can’t leave Buenos Aires without exploring its biggest clubs. This tour goes beyond a simple overview — it’s a deep dive into the history and passion of Boca Juniors and River Plate. You’ll also get to see the iconic stadiums up close and experience them at their best. Contact our sales team to learn more. Note: This tour is not included but can be added as an extra.

  8. Day 8 - Museo TOP

Friday morning, the weekend is arriving, and so your stay with us is close to the end. But we still have some unique gems to show you: Claudio di Stefano is a well known football journalist in Argentina and during his extense career, he achieved to get the most complete football jersey and memorabilia museum, with some jaw dropping items that you would not believe it! The afternoon is free, so we can explore the opportunity of adding an extra game, if the fixtures matches.

  9. 🚶Day 9 - Free day - Optional Lower League game

If you want to witness the true football madness, you have to go to a Lower Division game. Of course Boca, River and any first division club has a huge fan base, with die-hard supporters, but the second division has somethig special. Maybe for how difficult it is to get promoted (due to a VERY challenging league modality), or because each club is extremely linked to the neighbourhood, the second tier teams has a huge passion that goes beyond the football results. It is not easy to match a lower division gae in the itinerary, due to fixtures, but we will inform you if this possibility can be a dream come true. Note: This tour is not included, but can be added as an extra.

  10. 🏟 Day 10 - Matchday (Boca or River)

The Final Matchday Has Arrived Our football journey in Buenos Aires comes to an end with one last unforgettable game. By now, you know exactly what it feels like to experience an Argentinian match — and we hope you’re still hungry for more! Whether the fixtures take us to Boca Juniors or River Plate, closing your trip at one of the two most iconic stadiums in the world — La Bombonera or El Monumental — is a true highlight. Get ready for your final dance in Buenos Aires. From the bottom of our hearts, we hope you enjoy every second of it.

  11. Day 11 - Time to say goodbye

A fantastic experience. We booked over a year and a half ago, and finally, on November 7th, we arrived in Buenos Aires. The driver for the transfer to the Top Rentals Belgrano apartment was already waiting for us. The apartment itself was excellent, with a lovely rooftop pool. From the roof, you can already see River Plate's Monumental stadium. On Saturday, we had our first match. It was originally supposed to be Racing Club - Defensa y Justitia, but due to an AFA ban, no supporters were allowed. Homefans expertly resolved this, and we went to El Palacio to watch Huracan - Newell's Old Boys. The hosts for this match were Marjorie and Sol. Super nice women and very helpful. First, we had a beer in the park, then a short visit to the Previa with the real fans, which was great. And then we went to the stadium. A beautiful old stadium with a unique atmosphere. The match wasn't great, but it was a nice ex. After the match, we were politely escorted to our vans for the return trip to the hotel. Several people on our bus wanted to snag a Boca shirt for the Superclassico on Sunday. The problem was that the required sizes were sold out at all the shops near the hotel. Marjorie knew a few shops in a shopping mall where we might find something we liked. She arranged for the bus to stop there, so it could continue straight on, and she took the people looking for shirts to these shops. A fantastic move on her part, and everyone was successful. We took an Uber back to the apartment. Uber works very well in BA. On Sunday morning, we were picked up on time for the Superclassico. We gathered for a beer and a slice of pizza at Napoleon, a few blocks from La Bombonera. Sol was our host today. Everything was perfectly organized again. We walked to the stadium over two and a half hours before the match, and it was already a madhouse on the way. Wonderful! We entered the stadium without any problems, and even two hours before the match, more than half the crowd was already inside, and the singing and music were constantly playing. No one was sitting together, but that didn't matter. This was truly the most fantastic experience of the trip. There was pure passion and celebration in the stadium. And the match was also top-notch. We will never forget this day. Afterwards, everything was perfectly arranged, and we were promptly dropped off at the apartment. Afterward, we went out for dinner with some English and other Dutch people. The meat is unparalleled in Argentina. We had booked five matches for this trip, the other three of which were hosted by Gira Futbolera: Argentinos Juniors vs. Belgrano, San Lorenzo vs. Sarmiento, and Velez Sarsfield vs. River Plate. These were also perfect; a review can be found in the respective experiences. But besides the matches, we also had an Asado with a stadium visit at CA Atlanta with host Andrea. This was also perfectly organized. A passionate guide told us all about the club and showed us around the stadium, after which we even got to kick a ball around on the pitch. We had the Asado at the club restaurant, La Bohemia, which was delicious. Highly recommended. Besides this activity, we also took a three-hour bike tour with our host, Chan. Chan told us all about the murals we saw of Maradona, Boca, and Messi. The bike tour added a little extra sparkle to our trip. Unfortunately, the trip just ended. But I would recommend it to everyone. The communication with Homefans is also excellent. Everything is communicated on time. Perfect. And Buenos Aires is a really nice city to visit; there's so much to do and see. Thank you Mariano, Andrea, Sol, Marjorie and Chan for a great time!

What an amazing footballing experience in the most beautiful city I have visited. During my trip I went to six games, including matches in the iconic Bombonera and Mas Monumental stadiums. These were the standouts but the experiences at the other stadiums were equally memorable thanks to the fantastic guides on the trip. It’s not only the games as the trip includes an asado evening hosted by the wonderful Betty and Marcelo and also a really enjoyable bike tour around the most famous football murals of the city which turned out to be a real highlight with Chen chatting about the stories behind each of the murals. Away from the football, Buenos Aires has so much to offer and the people here are so friendly. A massive thank you to my guides Chan, Ezequiel, Marcelo, Marj and Santi who were all superb and helped make it such a good tour as well as Mariano for being so helpful when I had to reschedule my trip. I can’t recommend this trip enough and hope to be back in Buenos Aires again sometime to see more games.

If you are a football fanatic with a passion for Stadiums, look no further - this is THE TRIP! As a HF local Host for Napoli with eternal worship for Diego Maradona, visitinga BA and La Bombonera was my decade-long dream. But the trip is much more than this! You are surrounded by other football geeks from all over Europe, you are very well taken care by the organisers and very nicely guided by the various local Hosts! The atmosphere is in the stadiums are possibly even better than expectations, Argentineans are warm and easy-going people (if you happen to speak Spanish, then you can access the extra level), and the city is vibrant. The Asado was delicious and in a very cosy setting, and the bike tour is very pleasant and informative. You also have the chance to book additional activities (eg, the Top Maradona tour) or additional matches. I personally had 8 games including 2 Libertadores matches, and all of them ranged from super good to excellent. All in all, the trip is even decently priced for what it offers. You only need to find the right celebration or the perfect excuse and just book it. "La pelota no se mancha"

This was my dream holiday trip come true. I couldn't have been happier. Every single match experience was a pleasure to behold, as were the extra experiences that are included in this trip. Starting with the matches. Every host was very professional and enthusiastic. Their passion was clear and it really rubbed of on us. Not only stadiums as the Mas Monumental and La Bombonera were amazing to visit. The lesser know teams were as equally amazing. The atmosphere is so authentic there. All the extras such as the Bike trip, Asado and Maradona tour were also very well organized. They also offer plenty of optional extras and even helped me booking a trip to Iguazu Falls and Montevideo. This holiday was the experience of a lifetime. Don't sleep on it, just book it!

An absolutely amazing trip which was non stop and truly authentic. Our groups included people from the U.K., Netherlands, Sweden, N. Ireland, and Italy. All the hosts were passionate about their clubs and gave us a great insight into the traditions and culture of their teams. The locals, whether it was in BA or Montevideo were so nice and appreciated our long trip to see their football. Thanks to Sol, Andrea, Mariano, Chan, Santi, Fede, Roberto, Gaston, (hope I’ve not missed anyone). Everything was so well organised and the lower league games are worth a visit too. The passion of the support was superb. And the drumming and bands which never stopped were infectious, so by the end of the game you were hoping in with the chants. Incredible experience, so just book it!

As a Brit travelling to Buenos Aires I was sceptical but homefans organised the trip brilliantly with the local guides offering great advice for seeing the city and properly engaging with Argentine culture. The hosts for the games were fantastic, especially Chan and Santi. I would recommend going to a range of games and not just the usual boca/river since Velez and the rosario derby were the highlights of the trip for me. Huge thank you to Andrea for the logistics and Mariano for organising the trip to Rosario for what was a special clasico. Would massively recommend homefans for any football trip!

I am not one to post reviews but Homefans were amazing here in Buenos Aires. Andrea was extremely flexible in arranging me to see both River and Boca at home and fitting it into our schedule. She also suggested a second division match at Ferro that I went on my own. Amazing experience and Chan was a great host as well at both Boca and River. More than I could have expected. My next trip to Argentina I will have the pleasure of working with Homefans again!

Like most keen football fans, we've always had a fascination about Argentinian football. We had read all about the passion and seen the scenes of jubilation in the streets of BA and beyond when the country celebrated the recent World Cup final victory, and we really wanted to experience it first-hand. Then, a few months ago, we came across "Homefans" and thought "Yes, that sounds just what we've been searching for - experiencing Argentinian football with local fans - we'll do it!". Well, we were not disappointed - from the moment we stepped foot on Argentinian soil until we took our return flight home, the trip exceeded our expectations. The hospitality shown by our hosts Mariano, Chan & Sol was heart-warming. They took us in under their wings like returning family members and listened to our footballing stories transfixed, as we listened to theirs. If I have one overriding memory of the whole trip it would be the kindness shown to us throughout our stay. In fact, it was refreshing to see this across Argentinian society, with younger people often seen jumping up to offer their seat to older ones on the metro. Mariano, Chan and Sol made us feel at home and on numerous occasions went that extra mile to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. The knowledge and passion of Sol for everything Huracan was indeed infectious and Huracan will always have a special place in my heart Sol. It's such a lovely family-oriented club whose ground reminded me of the old Olympic stadium in Berlin and I'll always remember the pre-match atmosphere with the ultras’ songs accompanied by the famous drums. My only regret? Just wish you had given us a heads-up on our taxi driver before we entered his cab – turns out he was one of Huracan's former stars! And Chan, you just lived and breathed BOCA. Your knowledge of BOCA, the national team and all the football murals around the city was breathtaking, just don't tell anyone what I first said upon seeing the Tevez RON mural next to La Bombonera :-) I have never experienced an atmosphere like the one at BOCA's home game - can't be described, must be experienced! And then there was the wonderful ASADO, when we were very kindly invited to the home of the parents of Sol's boyfriend Max, where we were again treated like returning family members and where we enjoyed a fantastic evening, savouring the delicious meats and wines, amongst friends. Thanks to all of you at Homefans for having made us feel so welcome and special and for having made our stay so memorable. Dave and I are already planning our next trip to South America, which will for sure include another stay in Buenos Aires, where we very much hope to be able to catch up with you all again. In the meantime, if you are every over in Europe, don’t hesitate to drop me a line…

The Ultimate Argentina trip is a MUST for any football lover. You can read and watch YouTubes of the 'fan-experience' so I'll simply say it's better than you can imagine. What makes Homefans special is the people. Mariano made eveything work to perfection. It was clear from the outset in a bar on our first night for a beer that he was authentic and cared about us. Sol's passion for everthing Huracan was infectious - if Huracan is not on your list, then change your list - the stadium is a work of beauty. Chan was Boca through and through - he treated us to beers in an amazing bar before the game, and also hosted the bike ride which exceeded expectations with all the murals. And Fede was beyond entertaining with his stories and passion for River and his home neighborhood  of Avellenada.  The Asado will make you feel like a native of Buenos Aires - thank you Mariano and Sol and your friend Maxi and the family and everyone for that very special evening. Finally, whatever you do, add the Argentinos Juniors Stadium tour and Maradona home to your visit. This was arranged  by Mariano then Dan and Tomas who introduced us to Augustin - his tour of the museuem, and especially the shrine will  stay long in your memory.  You will be genuinely moved if you visit the Maradona home - it is the first story I've told my friends since I got back - for me, if there is one thing to to do in BA, this is it. Finally thank again to all our Homefans hosts - you made us feel so welcome and special and I hope to see you all again soon.  Tony

This trip was absolutely unreal. From the moment we landed in Buenos Aires, it felt like stepping into a football dream. The passion, the energy, and the love for the game were everywhere. Every day was packed with unforgettable moments. We experienced the madness of attending a game of Boca, surrounded by chants, fireworks, and pure emotion at La Bombonera. It wasn’t just about watching the game – it was about feeling it in your bones. But it wasn’t all about football (well, mostly it was). We explored the city, tasted incredible asado, and even picked up a few chants with the locals. The mix of football, culture, and just soaking in the vibe of Argentina made it so special. The hosts were amazing too. They made sure we felt like insiders, not just tourists. Whether it was explaining the history of the clubs or showing us the best hidden spots in the city, they went above and beyond. Honestly, this trip was everything I hoped for and more. If you’re a football fan, it’s a must. I came back with incredible memories, new friends, and a whole new love for the beautiful game.

I always wanted to visit Buenos Aires to watch Boca at La Bombanera and River at Mas Monumental, thanks to Homefans and Mariano I got to do this and see 4 other games. The organisation from start to finish was superb and took any anxiety over getting to games away. From pick up at the airport to dropping at my hotel - an upgrade on my package, transport to games, match tickets, knowledgable hosts, transport back from games to getting taken back to the airport, everything went faultlessly. Mariano was always available to answer queries, organise extra games and give general advice whilst checking match hosts were in regular contact for meeting points and match info. It was a long held dream to watch football in Argentina and Mariano and Homefans turned it into reality. Great value for money and 5 star service.

Just back from this trip and it was a superb 11 days. Everything was organised in great fashion. The accommodation was spacious and clean and in a very good location. All of the hosts were excellent and made sure we knew exactly what was happening in the build up to each game day. Cycle tour was great we managed to fit in another couple of games to take our total to five. Always dreamt of seeing games in Buenos Aires and still can believe that I have seen both River Plate and Boca play in their home stadiums. This trip is a must-do for any football fan.

We had a really memorable trip in May 2024. Big thanks to the Homefans organisers and especially their game hosts. We had included River Plate, Boca Juniors and Huracan and because of the amount of football available were able to add 5 more games at Independiente, Racing, Velez Sarsfield, Tigre and Platense. All great atmospheres with good people as hosts, the smaller clubs are well worth seeing. Homefans provide a framework of football for the trip the rest is up to you to explore Buenos Aires. So plenty of free time, don't expect to have your hand held you have plenty of time around the football to explore and do your own thing. The perfect trip for us.

I went to Buenos Aires in June for the Ultimate Argentina experience, and I can really recommend it. Big thanks to our great hosts, Valentin and Mariano from Homefans for providing us the best service there is. They helped us already before we went and all the way until we came back home. Buenos Aires is such a lovely city, and the football culture in Argentina is the best I've ever experienced. The Ultimate Argentina experience is money well spent!

My friend and I decided we wanted to visit Buenos Aires to watch real football. He discovered this trip. Initially, I was skeptical, thinking that we could just go by ourselves. I was wrong. Homefans truly put together an extraordinary trip. Three matches are included in the Ultimate Argentina experience. We attended around 9 or 10 matches in 11 days, all booked through Homefans. They arranged everything from transportation to tickets (which are not easy to obtain on your own in Argentina) to pre-match food and beer. The hosts were all outstanding, the stadiums and teams were all unique and special (unlike in Europe), and the atmosphere was incredible. Using Homefans is essential if you want to experience football in Buenos Aires. I will definitely use them again when I visit next time.

To visit some football games in Argentina was a dream and finally the dream came true. Without doubt the football culture in Argentina is the best in the world. The atmosphere in the stadiums are simply amazing. You can really see that football is maybe the most important thing in Argentina. To go with Homefans is a must if you go for the first time to a game in Argentina. To every game you go with a local host who arrange transfers, food and the most important thing: Tickets. All the games I went to with Homefans were a really good experience. The hosts were always really nice and they did their best to give you a typical Argentinian football game experience. They took their responsibilities that you got the transfers, got lot of information about the football club their support and it was always safe to go. For sure I want to go back again and it will be nice to meet the hosts I met there again!

We have already been to many competitions in Europe together, but the ultimate dream was Argentina. We looked forward to it for a long time and finally we could go. Actually, it could only be disappointing because our expectations were super high. However, these have been far surpassed. What a matches we have seen. The stadiums are really great, the atmosphere is fantastic. There is really nothing to compare it with in Europe. Everything was super organized. Big compliments to Homefans, all the hosts who guided us and especially Valentin. We saw nine matches in ten days and that is actually not even enough, you just want to see more. We are sad that it is already over. There are still so many clubs that you should actually go to. We are also sure that we will go again. Thanks to everyone from home fans, this was indeed The Ultimate Experience!!!

At the start of 2020, I decided to return to South America to go to the holy grail for every lover of football culture: Buenos Aires. And although this trip had been my dream for over a decade and my expectations were mighty high, it still surpassed my expectations by a thousand miles. The Cinco Grandes, the smaller stadiums and the fecha de los clásicos; this journey had it all. If I knew I had only 3 weeks to live, I would purchase the Ultimate Argentina by Homefans again without thinking twice. A big word of thanks goes to Alvaro and Valentín, the Homefans trip managers in Buenos Aires. I am aware that my plan to see as many matches as possible was a tremendous challenge, but these guys managed to unburden me with their excellent service throughout the entire trip. They both deserve a wellness arrangement :). In addition, Alvaro and Valentín are more than just sales reps. They truly care about the travelers and they assure the complete Argentinian experience by joining us at a typical bar or restaurant for example. Can't thank you guys enough!

Inmiddels 4x met jullie op stap geweest. Het begon allemaal in maart 2019. De reis naar Buenos Aires met Home Fans. Iets wat ik als klein kind al heel graag wilde. Voetbal in Zuid-Amerika. 7 wedstrijden in 10 dagen. Een hele mooie ervaring. Met leuke en een goede gids. Tussendoor veel vrije tijd, om de stad te verkennen!

Went twice with Homefans. Football at its best. The most passionate football culture on Earth, in an unbelievable city of Buenos Aires. Visited multiple games, stadiums, and football neighbourhoods on both trips. Boca Juniors as a must and Racing Club left me speechless. Homefans even made it happen for us to watch a home match of San Lorenzo among the ultra supporters, in the safest and smoothest way possible. Well done Homefans! Not to mention our day trip to Montevideo and the Peñarol game in Libertadores we watched there. Also had a sufficient amount of free time to explore the city by myself, and made some new friends among the fellow travellers. Brilliant trip, can't wait to come back for my Argentina hat-trick. Shout out to the local hosts as well! Cheer!

I went with homefans on a 10 day trip to Argentina, Buenos Aires. The football capital of the world an unforgettable journey through the Argentinian football culture from Boca juniors in La Bombenera to the champion Racing club. The first club of Diego Maradona Argentinos juniors or between ultras at San Lorenzo. It was an unforgettable trip, not to mention the Argentinian steaks, the trendy cafes in Palermon and the quilmes. All in all I have had the best experience ever thanks to Homefans.

I used Homefans twice for the Ultimate Argentina trip and had an unbelievable time in Buenos Aires. Everything was well arranged and all the matches were amazing. Met a lot of good people along the way and the locals were good. Thanks Homefans!
