Joining the Brazil trip was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s not just about the football (although the matches at Maracanã, Botafogo and in São Paulo were absolutely amazing)—it’s about the people you meet and the connections you make. I traveled solo, but within hours, I felt like I was part of a group of like-minded fans from all over the world. Homefans and all locals didn’t just deliver an incredible trip; they helped me to meet other great people too!

The Ultimate Brazil: São Paulo & Rio trip was everything I hoped for and more! Experiencing the passion of Brazilian football at Morumbi, Vasco and Maracanã was absolutely surreal, and the local hosts made it so much more than just about the games. From exploring vibrant neighborhoods in São Paulo to relaxing on Copacabana Beach in Rio, every moment felt authentic and exciting. The perfect mix of football, culture, and free time made this trip unforgettable—thank you, Homefans, Matheus and alll locals!

I have been wanting to book a Homefans trip for years since they first popped up on my Facebook feed and finally the stars aligned and I was able to book this trip for April 2024. I have to say it was all that was promised and more & was very professionally put together from start to finish. From being met at the airport to the stadium tour trips and matchday experiences to being transferred to Rio airport at the end of the trip everything went super smoothly with the hosts keeping us updated throughout with where they would meet us and what times. We met multiple hosts during the trip accoridng to the games/stadiums we were visiting and all the ocasions were well organised with lots of local knowledge about the history of the teams/cities and we were not just taken to the locations. Before going I had countless friends tell me to be careful but at no time were we concerned about our safety or that of our posessions. Having friendly local hosts made a huge difference be it from taking us to try local street foods, beers to 'protecting' us against street sellers inflating their prices to gringos. The highlight for me was, being a lifelong Iron Maiden fan seeing the wall artwork from the Vasco Ultras, our host Mattheus then took us to the Forca Jovem Ultra's store in a non descript building which we'd never have found or thought to enter without local company. I could go on and on but all I can say is if anynone is in two minds about booking with Homefans - just do it, you will not be disappointed at all. We were trying to work out when and where we will be booking our next South American tour before we left Brazil!

Just an incredible experience from start to finish. Four unique match day experiences at some of Brazil’s biggest and most famous clubs, with the most passionate fans. Stadium tours take you deeper into the history of the clubs, stadiums and their local community. And there’s time to do some non-football tourism as well, or just enjoy your time in these incredible cities. The guides are all very helpful and makes sure everting runs smoothly. Always on hand if needed. A once in a lifetime trip that was all I hope for and more.

Where do I start, what an amazing trip. At short notice Matheus was drafted in to do the Sao Paolo part of the trip too. Him not being that familiar with Sao Paolo didn't detract from the experience. Matheus was knowledgeable, friendly and even took us to an extra game. Onto Rio, Matheus was so knowledgeable, we even got to 'hang' with some 'Ultras' prior to the Flamengo game and got to play a drum prior to the game (albeit not very well) :-) Matheus knows so many people so we got to experience the game with some of his friends too. The football was amazing, the tours of the favela in Rio and the Samba night were fantastic. If you get the chance to do this trip, do it and if you're lucky enough to get Matheus as your host consider yourself very lucky. He's a fantastic, friendly, very knowledgeable guy. A great experience for us.
