Had an awesome night at the game in Maracana, vs Flamengo. Communication before the game with Luiz was smooth and easy to organize the registration and meeting point, and he is a super nice guy with lots of knowledge of the club Vasco da Gama. He also introduced me to his friends which was cool. And he took care that I safely got an uber after the game. Highly recommend this experience, it was really great!

We came to Rio hoping to catch a soccer match—and ended up having one of our favorite nights of the trip. My husband and I wanted to attend a soccer game while visiting Rio, but securing tickets directly from the club was confusing. That led us to Homefans, and we’re so glad it did. Luiz sent clear instructions for the facial recognition process, where to meet, and timing. When we arrived, he spotted me in the crowd and called out my name, which immediately made us feel taken care of. We grabbed jerseys at the Vasco store before the match and got to enjoy Vasco’s first game of the season - ending in a win!! Luiz was incredibly patient with our many questions about the team, its players, and Rio. It truly felt like attending the game with a friend (albeit one far too young and cool to actually be our friend!). After the match, he walked us to the approved Uber pickup area, waited until we were safely on our way, and even followed up to make sure we got home safely. If you want a seamless, safe, and genuinely fun soccer experience, Luiz is your guy. He’s a lifelong Vasco fan, which made it even better—and a perfect start to our Rio trip.

Fantastic night at Sao Januário. Vasco is without doubt an authentic Brazilian football experience. From walking through the streets to the ground, to the old school stadium and ornate main stand, the electric atmosphere and a 5-1 win made for a great night. Luiz was a great host, has perfect English, was very communicative in the lead up to the game making the meeting and ticket logistics easy and stress free. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing experience with Luiz as my host for the Vasco da Gama match. From the start, he was organized, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area and the club’s history. He chose an easy meeting point, made sure everyone arrived on time, and guided us smoothly through everything. I had no idea we needed facial recognition to enter the stadium, but Luiz was proactive and handled the entire process for us so we didn’t have any issues. He also made sure we got great seats with an incredible view of the match. Throughout the experience, he was interactive, engaging, and made the whole group feel comfortable and safe. Had an amazing experience visiting Vasco with Luiz. He's very attentive, speaks fluent english and does a great job organising this experience of his local club. It truly is the most authentic football experience in Rio. Very recommended to visit Vasco with Homefans and Luiz. First and foremost because Vasco is almost always sold out, the face recognition registration and because estadio Sao Januario is situated next to a favela. But also because its just great to speak with like minded people about football and the match you are experiencing together.

Amazing experience with Luiz at the San Januario stadium. Luiz is a great host. Very nice person, easy-going, and always answer your questions about the team with a big smile. He really enjoy welcoming people into the stadium to share the match together. He was also really available prior to the game, since I made the booking, to give me all the information I needed to organize my venue. He also made sure the entire group knew how to get back to their places after the game. I strongly recommand Luiz if you want to attend a Vasco game.

Luiz was a great host! Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to catch a match in Rio. He took care of the ticket, biometrics, and was excellent with communication before, during, and after. He also made sure I was able to get an Uber back to my hotel afterward. Felt safe and at home in the social section throughout the match. And as an extra bonus it was a Vasco victory!

Luiz was a great host, setting up the accounts and facial recognition process for us to get the tickets. We met outside the ground and had a couple of drinks and took photos before we went into the stadium. The fame was great and Vasco won 3-2 with the atmosphere being brilliant. After the game, Luiz made sure he got us a taxi for a fair and reasonable price for our journey back to Copacabana Beach. A great experience and one we would highly recommend. Luiz was an amazing host. He met us at a subway station and we took an Uber to the match together. Luiz gave us plenty of time to experience the pre-match Vasco drinks and food outside the stadium, which was a wonderful experience. We had so much fun at the match and Vasco won 2-1!!! The energy was amazing. Luiz was so great throughout the match. After it ended, he waited for us to safely get into our Uber. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to experience an authentic Brazilian football match! 10/10!

It was our first time in Brazil and our first experience of a live football game in the country. Luiz was a wonderful host - warm, helpful and knowledgeable about Brazilian football. Incredible experience for any football fan. Luiz took us to the Rio derby Vasco vs Flamengo at the Maracana. He could not have been a nicer host. My friend has difficulty walking but Luiz was there to help us access the stadium and ensure we had everything we need. There was a torrential downpour outside the stadium which just added to an unforgettable atmosphere. As a lifelong football fan I’ve never experienced an atmosphere like it, and it was incredibly friendly, we always felt safe. Luiz ensured that we got transportation home also. I could not recommend Luiz highly enough, an incredibly welcoming friendly and true football fan. Thank you for everything. Hope to see you at a game in the UK Luiz. Stuart

This was a fantastic experience! A truly authentic local thing to do in Rio. Luiz is a great guide, you could not ask for a nicer host than him! His English is excellent and he is warm and welcoming. He takes care of everything from A-Z. The day before the match he thoroughly communicated with me about everything I needed to know, from meeting up to what colors are best to wear to the match. Going to the game with him you can experience it like the locals do and not worry about anything. The pre game experience was very neat. The fans are great and enthusiastic. The stadium itself is a classic, almost 100 years old. If you are a sports fan and you are visiting Rio, I highly recommend going to a Vasco game with Luiz. You will not regret it. One of the coolest things you can do in Brazil.

Luiz made you feel home away from home instantly wen arriving at the Vasco Da Gama stadium, having some food and beers from the vendors while Luiz was telling me passionately about his team. Inside the stadium it was a superb experience seeing all the passion of the fans and i couldnt have wished for a better last night in Rio. Great communication before and Luiz picked me up at my hotel and we got a few beers before the game. Unfortunately Vasco lost the game.
