I met with Juan for empanadas and beer in a nearby pizzeria. He knows where to go near the stadium because on match days you can not find beer in most of the bars in the neighborhood. He is very friendly and a football enthusiast himself. He was well prepared, sent me articles before and showed me pictures and told me facts about the club and some more stories in the Stadium. Was really worth the tour because he showed me around safely and had really interesting knowledge that you can not just google easily.

We were taken to the Velez vs San Martin match by Juan, along with his 12 year old daughter who was a real sweetie, and a Velez supporter ! Juan collected us from our hotel, and dropped us back after the match. It was a top night, and Velez won 1-0. We visited a ranch style restaurant before the match for empanadas (the best we tasted on our trip), visited the stadium store to buy the obligatory shirt, then to the stadium. Boy are the South Americans passionate supporters !! Great atmosphere, and I would repeat the experience in a heartbeat. Highly recommend. Thank you Juan for your company, and for making us feel safe in an unfamiliar environment.

juan picked us up at the hotel before the match and brought us back afterwards. he gave us interesting information about velez. nice stadium, good seats, good atmosphere. a perfect day with juan. and velez won and juan was happy.

Both Rama and Juan made us feel extremely welcome with Rama taking us to and from the game in his own car, and treating us to choripan and drinks before the game. Juan then met us and he was very well organised, allowing us time to buy merchandise and then escorting us to our seats. The local fans were very friendly too and the group could not have had nicer hosts.

Ramiro was our host and was excellent he contacted us early to make all the arrangements. The experience was as advertised. Ramiro informed us about the history of Velez and the excellent facilities they provide for their community including schooling. The ground has (like all Argentinean football) a great atmosphere. Overall a good experience with an excellent host.

We had a great football experience with Juan. He provided frequent communication leading up to the event. Juan picked us up at our Airbnb, drove me and my family to the neighborhood near the stadium. We ate some excellent Argentine pizza and beer at one of the best pizzerias in the city, Fortin. It was an authentic barrio experience. We had great conversation, then went to the stadium. We visited the fan shop and then met up with other fans. Unfortunately, Velez lost, but the atmosphere was fantastic with enthusiastic fans. He drove us back to our door at the end of the night. He continued to send us great recommendations via text for restaurants and experiences. He's a kind and attentive host. The entire experience was easy and very enjoyable. Gracias Juan!

We went to a Velez Sarsield match againt Central Cordoba with Juan. Before the match we meet up in a local bar for some drinks and food. After that we went to a local bar near the stadium between some typical Argentine playing fields. Juan knows everything of the football culture and the city of Buenos Aires. He did everything to gave us a great experience. We couldn't have imagined a better guide. Thanks a lot Juan for the great experience!

Had a very nice experience at Velez. The host, Juan, is very friendly and easy to contact by phone / whatsapp. This made the experience very good organized. Before the game we had some beers at a supportersbar near the stadium. Juan has a passion for football which makes him the perfect host. Had a great experience. Thanks again Juan!

Ramiro is a great guide. I was met at the hotel, then off to the ground via the metro/bus picking up somebody else on the way. We had a couple of beers before heading to the match. Our seats were good, on the side in the middle of the second tier. After the match we stopped off for a choriopan then into a taxi and back to the hotel. I had an excellent time, definitely recommend visiting some of the clubs you might not have heard of in Buenos Aires (I hadn’t realised there was so many!!!).

I attended the game against River in the Copa Libertadores and the atmosphere was incredible. The hosts Juan and Ramiro made the experience very easy and enjoyable, we got food before the game and local transport there and back.
