The Fluminense experience with Victor was exceptional. Initial contact with Victor was great and he made me aware of the central meet up point which was well communicated. The atmosphere was buzzing from the moment Victor took us to the pre match location, the drink and food available was great and local. And the atmosphere inside the Maracana did not disappoint. We did the Fluminense matchday experience at Maracanã, and it was honestly one of the best things we’ve done in Rio. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized. We met at a central location and went together with the group towards the stadium, which lets you experience the local atmosphere from the start—walking with the fans, having drinks, and really understanding what football means here. But what truly made the difference was the guide. Ours was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and always making sure everyone was comfortable. He explained everything (the club’s history, rivalries, how the stadium works) and kept the group engaged the whole time. 👉 This was especially important for us: we are women traveling alone, and we felt completely safe at all times. The guide managed the group, chose safe routes, and stayed attentive throughout, which made a huge difference in a place like Maracanã on match day. Inside the stadium, the atmosphere is just incredible. The energy, the chants, the passion—it’s on a completely different level compared to football in Europe. It really feels like you’re part of something special. Before entering, there’s also time to enjoy the pre-game vibe outside (food, drinks, fans celebrating), which makes the whole experience even more complete. 💡 In short: • Perfect organization • Outstanding guide (key to the experience) • Felt very safe, even as women traveling alone • Authentic, local atmosphere (not touristy) We would 100% do it again. If you’re in Rio, this is a must-do.

We had a fantastic time at the football — Victor was an exceptional host from start to finish. Everything was clearly explained, and very well organised. Meeting up for a beer before the game with other fans really added to the experience, and the atmosphere in the stadium was absolutely electric. We were seated near the samba band who played drums throughout the entire match — the rhythm, noise and constant beat created so much energy and made the whole experience even more unforgettable. Victor also made sure we got home safely at the end of the evening, which was very much appreciated. We’re now following Fluminense FC from home — and we can’t recommend this experience highly enough!

In a word “wow”! Victor looked after us from meeting at the tube station until making sure we were ok in the area after the game, and we got an Uber back to our hotel. As regards the game which Flu won 6-0, what an incredible atmosphere, an absolute bucket list item at the Maracana for me. Do yourself a favour, book this, you won’t regret it. I recently returned from Brazil where I spent time in Rio and Sao Paulo watching football - these experiences really are a must for any football fan and thoroughly enjoyed my time with Victor and his friends. Victor was in contact early in the process and was able to walk me through the facial recognition system, I was grateful to do this ahead of schedule and have it completed before the event. 48 hours before kick off I received the details of the meeting point from Victor as well as some guidance about how to prepare for the game and what to expect. On the night Victor was very pleasant, sociable, helpful and generally an excellent host. To make things even better Fluminense won with a goal in the last minute of injury time! I went to Rio earlier this year with some friends, and we managed to attend as many games as we could (including watching the home rivals via Homefans). The Maracana stadium was a must for us, and we were really happy to have attended the Fluminense matchday experience.
