Cruzeiro Matchday Experience at Mineirão Stadium

I recently booked with home fans for a Cruzeiro Copa Libertadores match, although they had not advertised the specific game, HF put us in touch with our host Peter who organised our adventure to the Incredible Governor Magalhães Pinto Stadium stadium thats hosted World Cup matches with lots of history. The occasion was extra special due to the unrivalled knowledge and enthusiasm for Brazilian and South American football of our host Peter. Belo Horizonte is fantastic city to visit to take in a game or 2, with friendly locals and some great museums and places to eat, a short flight to either Rio or Sao Paulo. Only negative was a Liverpool fan on the same trip who although sound, kept rattling on about Luiz Suarez been world class, bizarre, I tried not to bite. 10/10 to Peter for all his hard work to make our trip my best match day experience in 7 years with Homefans

Visited South America 5 times over 40+ games, this was one of my favourite games i have been to. Copa Libertadores at the Mineirao Stadium to see Cruzeiro V Boca. It was pretty special. Peter, was a great host. His football knowledge and passion about not just Brazilian football but South American was very impressive. He sorted everything out from tickets registration and supply drinks in a bar with local fans in a great location near the ground to soak up the pre match build up. Belo Horizonte is a city you need to visit.

I was lucky to experience the cruzeiro vs gremio game with Peter. We met in a local bar, went outside the stadium to have a beer and tried local food and then went into the stadium. It was wonderful to discuss football with Peter for hours. He is very knowledgeable, extremely kind and looked after us very well. The game was great and the stadium was outstanding. I can recommend the experience at any time.

Peter was an awesome host, very nice and knowledgeable of football. He started off by finding us a cool bar beforehand to watch Aston Villa which for me was top service from Peter. We then went to the stadium stopped off for some food and a beer outside, then Into the match which was unbelievable- hearing the fans in full voice was an experience in its self in such an iconic stadium. Highly recommend
