Everything included in your booking is listed in the What's included section above. This can include your match ticket, local host, pre-match activities, transport or other extras depending on the experience. Food, drinks and transport are only included when specifically stated.

When will I receive my ticket and matchday details?

After booking, your place is confirmed. Around a week before the experience, a WhatsApp group will be created with your host where you'll receive the latest details and can ask any questions. Your ticket information, meeting point, timings and any important entry instructions will be shared with you before matchday, so you'll have everything you need for the experience.

Who are the hosts on Homefans?

Our hosts are passionate local fans who know their club, city and matchday culture inside out. They’re there to help you experience the match like a local — from the pre-match atmosphere to getting to the stadium and enjoying the game together. Homefans hosts are verified by our team, and you can view your host’s profile, languages and reviews on the experience page.

Can I contact someone if I have questions?

Yes. You can contact hosts directly on the platform before booking if you're unsure about anything. After booking, you'll receive the information you need to coordinate your experience, including how to communicate with your host. The homefans team is also always available for assistance.

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?

Cancellation conditions can vary by experience. Your applicable cancellation terms are shown before booking. For this experience, Homefans currently states free cancellation up to 14 days beforehand, minus tickets or other costs already secured for the booking. Homefans

What happens if the match date or kick-off time changes?

Sports fixtures can be rescheduled due to TV selections, competitions or other circumstances. If this happens, we'll update you as soon as possible and help you understand what it means for your booking.

Can I request a custom or private experience?

Hello, I'm Arif Altuntaş! Experience a Galatasaray, Beşiktaş or Fenerbahçe game with me, your local host in Istanbul!

In Turkey, or especially in Istanbul, we experience such a high level of passion for football that for many it is greater than in many world champion countries! Here, intensity is part of the way of life, culture and, above all, football!

The Istanbul Football Experience features experiences in matches from the capital's three main clubs: Galatasaray, Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe. However, I am available for any other clubs you would like to attend, just get in touch!

In the experience, we will meet at the meeting/departure point for the stadium, joining with pieced jersey fans on the bus, subway and ferry. We will taste delicious street food around the stadium and, after that, we will enter the stadium singing along with the local fans. Let's all celebrate together when we score a goal and, if we happen to concede a goal, let's give even more support to our team!

I will take care of everything related to your experience myself. We will meet you at a convenient location and carry out all pre-game activities together. We will leave to where we found ourselves at the end of the match. Don't miss out on the exhilarating Istanbul Football Experience – where passion and football unite in a matchday like no other! Yesterday I got to experience a Galatasaray game it was an incredible experience and Arif was an amazing host and he taught us a lot of the chants and some amazing stuff about the team. Anytime you’re in Istanbul go to a Galatasaray game with Arif he’s the guy !!

The only thing at I can say about this amazing experience is just how good it is. Football in Turkey is more than just the game, it’s about eating the local food & drinking with the fans away from the Stadium. Arif our host took care of everything & ensured that we all had a 5 star experience. I can assure you that I will be returning once more to visit another one of the Istanbul teams very soon.

We wanted to watch a Galatasaray match during a few days in Istanbul and so we found homefans and Arif, a super nice guy who took care of everything, great service, great communication. He picked us up in the middle of Istanbul, we were able to enjoy the atmosphere in the city centre and went to the stadium together. Great experience, like being in the stadium with a friend. He took care of my ticket which is a slightly complicated provess in Turkey, then picked me up in the city from where we made our way to the stadium. In that area we picked up some matchday atmosphere and Arif told me a lot about Turkish football, Galatasaray and his job. Super nice guy, can definitely recommend while you're in Istanbul!

I experienced 3 matches in Istanbul in 3 days with host Arif who looked after me very well. I was primarily in Istanbul to witness the big derby between Fenerbahce v Galatasaray and the atmosphere and matchday experience did not disappoint. The game was not the best but that is football! I would recommend Arif as a host for any football match in the great city of Istanbul. I hope to be back soon!
