2 day before I went on the trip to Buenos Aires, I had the change to book a ticket for the first ever Copa Libertadores (I was not aware of this yet) match of Platense (vs Corinthians). The day after, I already got a text from Tobias with a pick up time. At the pick up time, he arrived with his car to pick me up. We had a talk about our football clubs and when I said I always loved te Ultra's, he said he had tickets between them (I barely believed him). We had a few drinks and went to the stadion where we had amazing spots behind the goal and I had an amazing time. From translating the chants, to a chat, it was an amazing time. Platense lost and you could see Tobias his passion during the match and directly after. He brought me back to the appartment, where we had a chat for a bit. I can't thank him enough for an amazing time, great places in the stadion and informative evening. Because of him Platense has a special place in my heart. Aguante el Calamar!

Tobias was an excellent Host … his passion for the Club shone through… He wanted to share the ups and downs and the history of the club … He looked after me the whole time and I can’t thank him enough… a real credit to the Homefans organisation

A match day experience I’ll certainly remember for a long time. Despite Platense losing I thoroughly enjoyed it, whilst being with the fans behind the goal they never stopped supporting the team even after the final whistle. As an exception there were away fans allowed, due to violence and other reasons away fans have been banned since 2013. To experience a match with away fans was quite the experience. Thanks Tobias.

Platense is by no means the biggest club in the city, but from our talks with the very knowledgeable Tobias, they are embarking on their first Libertadores Cup campaign. Today’s match was something of a landmark, as the club was commissioning the new floodlight system that they need to enable tv coverage of their group games. Platense fans, like what appears to be all football fans in Buenos Aires, are just as fanatical as those from other clubs including the more famous River and Boca, and they try to generate the same high intensity of support to their team. Tobias arranged for tickets within their Ultras section and that was just another experience to behold! Tobias’ organisation of the day from start to finish was first class…we just hope, however, that he managed to attend his friends’ wedding reception later that evening!! I don’t think it was necessarily his duty to Homefans clients that affected his diary that night…probably his duty to support his team, Platense, was perhaps most important!!

Tobias provided exceptional service to my wife and I for the Platense v. Talleres match on April 29, 2025. To start the experience, Tobias messaged me a few days before the match and asked where we'd like to sit in the stadium and provided the details for the match. On the day of the match, he picked us up from Palermo and drove us to Saavedra, a few blocks away from the stadium. We shared a meal with Tobias and a few other fans before making our way over to the pitch just in time for kickoff. The atmosphere at Vicente Lopez was excellent and Tobias told us about the history of the club, his journey as a Platense fan, and was an overall great match going partner. To top it all off, after a big Platense win, Tobias drove us back to our hotel. Cannot recommend this experience enough, Tobias is a passionate Platense supporter and is eager to share his love of the club with anyone who will listen! Vamos Calamares!

Tobi, by his own admission, doesn’t support the biggest team in Buenos Aires but they are the club of his family. And that passion really came across from him in welcoming us to his club with a plethora of knowledge passed on to us and he made us feel very welcome. He also took us to a local bar for pre match food and drinks and the locals on the terraces were very welcoming too when they realised we were English, all wanting to take pictures with us. It was a heartwarming experience with Tobi and one I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.

Our host was Tobias, A good guy who is a keen Platense fan. We watched a game v Independiente . We were picked up at the time agreed and taken back after the game. Tobias delivered exactly what was agreed via homefans. Platense is one of the smaller clubs of the 8 we watched on our trip as a result you feel must closer to the 'grass roots' of football here and closer to the fans. A smaller but just as passionate crowd. Tobias informed us of the history of Platense and the issues that effect the club, he told us about their main rivals. Overall a great experience and well worth visiting this club.

Tobias was a great host, we got picked up from the hotel and went for a few drinks before the game. Good atmosphere in the ground and we got dropped off at the hotel after.

Had a great time with Tobias, communication prior to the match was good, he picked me up from my hotel, had a beer before the match in a local bar, he gave me a lot of information about Platense and after the match he droped me of at my hotel again, everything was perfect!
