Besiktas Matchday Experiences

What a wonderful experience myself and our group of 4 had. OG was an incredible host, explaining the history of the club and how Fenerbache fits in with Turkish sport. He made all of us feel very much part of the experience and ensured everything went smoothly from meet up and entry into the stadium, to the end of the match, making sure we all knew how to get back to our accommodation. The match itself was very exciting and the atmosphere was electric. A day we all will not forget.

OG was fantastic and the whole experience was well worth it. Really knowledgeable and we had a great time having a few drinks before the game in a great atmosphere. 100% would recommend!

OG gave us a fantastic tour last week for the Fenerbahce v Samsunspor match. Great knowledge, great company, good beer and food and a fantastic host who made us feel welcome as well as safe. I highly recommend him!

OG was on the ball from the minute we booked, due to fixture changes he was able to get us moved from one fixture to another to ensure we could take a game in during our long weekend in Istanbul. In the build up to the game he was able to answer any questions and sorted everything for us leaving with nothing to worry about ensuring we could embrace the full match day experience. Upon meeting OG, he sorted us out within scarves and local food whilst talking us through the history of football in Istanbul so we got the full picture of the past and current landscape in the Turkish league. This went down well alongside a few beers then we went off to the fan park where we were able to take in the atmosphere with the option to purchase very reasonable flares to get involved ourselves. Once in the ground, OG got us in a brilliant area to both watch the game as well as the local fan groups. The game we went to ended 0-0 but whilst the action on the pitch wasn’t the best, the action in the stands made up for it. Must do for football fans travelling to Istanbul.

The Fenerbahce gameday was truly great! 100% local experience and Og was the best host ever - his commitment is impressive! I´ve been to football games in so many different countries, this is the top. Ever. I hope more football lovers get an opportunity to take part in this ! Go Fenerbahce, go!

OG was a great host for us on our Istanbul trip. We did two matches, Besiktas and Fenerbahce plus a three stadium tour on our final day. Although a passionate Fenerbahce fan he always had time to tell us Besiktas and Galatasaray stories too. I particularly enjoyed the pre-match build up to the Besiktas game in the park eating local street food. The next day at the Fenerbahce game the presentation he made to explain the rivalry between the big two was fascinating, funny and very informative. It was a great way to meet the other fans on the group too. I can recommend OG as a tour guide and football host 100%, he is professional and fun but comes across as a friend more than a guide. He totally made our trip a lot easier for us with his prompt responses on anything we needed help with. Be it travel advice, ticket advice and even very good restaurant suggestions. I really hope we get the chance to do some football matches together again.

We took the two days tour, including both Besiktas and Feberbahce home games that weekend. Olgucan was a really guest host, taking us to some local bars and getting some lovely street food snacks before visiting the local spots that the fans congregate at. Nothing was too much trouble, sorting out the awkward Passolig tickets and taking us to the Feberbahce stadium tour. Communication via the WhatsApp group was easy and helpful was quick to answer any of our questions. All in all a great experience so thanks again Olgucan

My son and I had a great time touring around the stadium. You can clearly see the passion and knowledge about the team and everything about them. Ogulcan has great personality. Next time we are coming for the match with Ogulcan, great fun of Fenerbahçe. Thank you

I would like to say that Ogulcan was the perfect host for my recent trip to Istanbul for the Europa League games in January. He was very knowledgeable and took us to some great bars to drink with the fans pregame, he had some great stories to tell us and guided us to the correct entrance as I purchased upgraded seats which were also great. I would definitely recommend visiting Istanbul and letting Ogulcan take you around as he makes you feel safe and relaxed going to the games

It was the first time that I had the opportunity to watch football in Turkey and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Both hosts did their best to add something extra to the games and they succeeded in doing that. Especially Ogulcan surprised us by giving a presentation on Turkish football in general and specifically on his favourite club Fenerbahce. He told us how football was touching his personal life and those were hilarious stories. The tickets for the games were well organized via the Pasolig system, which you have to apply within the Turkish system. The atmosphere within the stadiums were on a high standard. The noise sometimes was deafening. All in all football in Turkey is recommended for every football fan.
